Could be worse.
You could be an ICU nurse or working in a Covid ward. Risking your life and that of your family.
We know some people who shielded from their own family for 3.5 months to avoid any risk of cross contaminating family members.
12 hour shifts in PPE. No bonuses, no wage rises as promised by Boris
Puts you not getting your hole into a whole new perspective. |

Clap clap.. we’ll nurse L.. if you were indeed a frontline health professional caringfor those poor souls in ICU . I sincerely applaud you and your colleagues for the excellent service you have all given. Albeit you have to work under extreme conditions on a 12 hour shift wearing full ppe ,no bonuses Or pay rises as promised. I can sympathise with you But not My problem and I’m not in the position change your working condition or indeed ensure you get your promised bonus . I’m sure you will have worked equally hard without one.. I too have had family members shielded and close friends affected by the COVID Virus .
Furthermore my post was simply to highlight the frustration I feel under the present circumstances Of which I’m sure so many of us On here and elsewhere do At this time.
As for getting “ my hole”” as you so eloquently phrased it.. it’s not about getting my hole ( Re read the post , it’s about the frustration) which was never Actually mentioned in the original post Nor was It mentioned that I intended to actively seek sex at this time ,, which I may add ,, I don’t ,, hence the frustration.. so my dear nurse L I would suggest you are equally frustrated with your personal circumstances and so forgive you for your misdirected rant . I Certainly hope you get your wage rise and a nice bonus for the excellent service you provide. Deepest regards Hotmail .. clap clap clap.. |

I dont think they are if they dont live in the same home they shouldn't be doing it !
Back to the op yes its frustrating as hell and the longer it goes on the harder it gets only you & you alone op can decide if its worth meeting up or not .

balance of risks? If it's two singles who live alone, whether they live in same house or separately may be considered irrelevant if they are both behaving responsibly and safely otherwise. |

Firstly she never stated SHE was an ICU nurse - just that you would be worse off if you were.
Secondly the 'clap clap' part od that message is the most condescending thing I've seen on here in a while and thats saying something.
You stated your feelings - she stated hers! There's no need to be a twat about it!! |

The OP said the lockdown had left him frustrated. Nowt wrong with that. And the point about everyone being affected, key workers or not is also true. Don't understand the rush to have a go at people for some ill conceived idea that people haven't appreciated all that key workers have done. Social media is full of this rubbish too. Some of us don't need to be vocal . |

If your point us to put it in some sort of perspective, your right, having a bit of fun is less important than being a nurse in icu.
However let's put that in perspective too,
Yes theve had a hard time but it's not been a thankless task by any means. They have been clapped every week , thanked at every turn, preferentail treatment in shops and now getting wage rises etc etc and all absolutely deserved, but where is the perspective I mentioned ???, transport staff , underpaid shop workers, cleaners, lorry drivers delivering food and medicines, people losing jobs, businesses closing down in their thousands all this happened too during Covid.
The NHS staff you mentioned WILL still have jobs and roofs over their heads unlike many others who you failed to recognise their perspective. Maybe you should look closer at what you preach about instead of pulling someone up for merely saying they were frustrated with a particular situation.
Disclaimer
No disrespect intended towards any NHS worker by this post.
And a big clap clap to all the unrecognised workers who ALSO put their lives at risk EVERY day doing their jobs too. |

OP started a lighthearted post about the frustrations of lockdown and clearly stated he had been sticking to lockdown. I don’t know a Single person who isn’t frustrated at lockdown for one reason or another it doesn’t mean they feel they are worse off than anyone else!!
Yes OP I too am frustrated with lockdown as I love my nights out with friends and also my nights with special friends
Fingers crossed people keep being sensible and the new normal isn’t too harsh on us all |
