You would think in this day and age, from what we have just come through, and are currently still going through, people wouldn't be so judgemental of others, judging people and deciding they know them. In here for instance, people judged on a few posts they write, we can't possibly decide what that person is really like. Kindness has been proven to increase our happiness, reduce stress and improve emotional wellbeing. At the same time, spreading kindness offers us the opportunity to connect with others, building a stronger sense of community and unity with friends, family, neighbours and even strangers. Fab to me is about celebration of sexuality and inclusion, Expressions of appreciation and passion. Theres enough crap in the world why bring it on to FAB? |

I think that, ironically what we've just came through...or are still going through will just make some people worse.
Hear you though, shouldn't be that hard to treat people the way you want to be treated. |

the abyss |
I must admit that on occasion I may reply to messages etc in a snippy way. Quite often that comes from exasperation from people not reading the profile (while boring it is informative) before messaging or from just not being in a great place myself. Sometimes its hard to remember to think before sending. I do always try to be polite though since it coats nothing after all |

However sometimes its banter but unless you know that person & know its banter it can come across in not such a nice way.
Then of course there are the odd posters who just can't help but be nasty to other members for no other reason than they can.
Just take it all in your stride and if you feel people are being nasty to you the best thing to do is not rise to it and just ignore them.
Just keep being you op |

In here, people will be judged on anything they choose to present about themselves.
You yourself seem to have decided that someone has been unkind on that basis |

Much as it irks me to agree with wellinever but she's right.
Everyone makes judgements on other people on Fab, you done it too with this thread, it means nothing. Also many are extremely opinionated , ( where's that mirror ) . It definitely doesn't mean they are unkind or trying to be nasty. People also see things from other angles, I thought a thread was very irresponsible yesterday while others found it funny. Hey ho , no big deal. It's simply the way Fab is.
In here run ins and different opinions are rife but can often be mistaken as someone trying to be unkind. |

I think there's a difference though, between being a cnut for the simple reason you want to be a cnut and voicing an unpopular opinion which some or many may find offensive.
You have the right to be offended. Others have the right to be (perhaps unintentionally) offensive. |

Some people can just as easily be kind, as they can be a cnut, intentionally or otherwise.
But, sadly, there are a few who are just incapable of ever being kind, because they have no capacity for empathy.
There’s no point in losing sleep over the latter, because while they may infuriate you, and you’ll be raging for a bit, in the morning you’ll be over it, and they’ll still be a Cnut for life |

Outside of this I've been know as a good man by most that know me. But I have a sneaking suspicion if half the folk that knew I was on here I'd be classed as a deviant reprobate |

Maybe that was them being kind
(Disclaimer - I have no idea what thread you are referring to so my comment is not judgemental in any way ) |

"I always give folk a chance or chat. Like most folk give abuse in here I never do xx "
I can't really say I see a lot of abuse on here.
In general I think most people interact.
