I am flying Easyjet tomorrow and I have purchased speedy boarding to enable me to get on the flight first.

Does anyone else hate the mad rush when flying Easyjet?

Last time I flew, I selected online check-in to avoid the ques not realising everyone else thought the same! There was a bigger que at the bag drop in than there was at the normal check in!

I wouldn't be able to board a plane first. Think I'd rather be last on so I didn't have to wait.

Can anyone tell me, whats the point of online check-in? I was always under the impression that by checking in, it meant you were in the airport and ready to go?

I flew to Prague recently and checked in online, got to the airport and had to stand in a line anyway and when I got to the front, the guy still went through the same routine as days of old! WTF? Mind you, saved myself about £15 so not all bad!!

The idea is that theyr supposed to send u the tags and ask you all the security questions online, so that when u get there they only have to weigh the case and send it off.

Should be quicker for everyone.... Should be!

Last time we flew with Easyjet we had speedy boarding too. As the hosties called those with speedy boarding fwd, a whole crowd stood up and made there way to the front desk....we thought Feck..half the plane got speedy boarding.

After about 3 or 4 mins of no movement, we asked the guy in front if he had speedy boarding ticket.."NO"....in fact none of them had they just thought they would get to the front before the whordes!

So we managed to then force our way through "speedily" not, only to be held at the door for ages. So now all the rest had filed down the stairs and were waiting all in the same place. When the door opened it was like the start of the 100m sprint...weans under folks arms, hand luggage swinging back n forward as everyone rushed towards the plane!

Wacky Races came to mind!!
