Who’s all back at work?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Never stopped working, had 4 days annual leave in April and pretty much worked straight through. Got a long weekend off next weekend, and I’m going home to see my mum for first tine in 22 weeks, and then I’ve a week off later in July, looking forward to it immensely. |

I've been working from home, Monday to Friday... Same job just different location, get out of bed & you're at work saves all that commuting chaos with ScotRail to Edinburgh each day. |

"Why all the scary and sad faces?
Haven't workplaces implemented precautions?" Yeah there are some precautions in place, but alot of guy's on building sites just don't care, they want to get back into work, plus the road's last week, were chocca, seen two really bad accidents on the m80, alone which would suggest traffic volumes are getting back to normal |

Worked through it as I’m a delivery driver.i have seen such a difference on the roads. They were dead at the start and made my job easier, but now they are back to normal. Lol I think a few drivers should take a refresher course on driving tho as I have seen a few dodgy drivers lately lol |

"Worked all the way through, covid19 is definitely bringing out a nasty side to people. Just makes working in difficult circumstances even more harder "
Definitely seen many people showing their true colours at this time. |

Some offices are only paying lip service to precautions. Tensions are high in my place. Been back about 4 weeks now. |

me and hubby both been working right thru
Week off from the 12th cant wait cause the next customer that draws me a dirty look, tells me to piss off or em no one else is doing it. When you tell them to social distance or follow the one way system is getting throat punched lol |

I have been working throughout.
In my job I have to attend customers homes and the majority don’t have an issue with you coming in and also haven’t changed their habits,. They still stand over you, making you a cuppa, giving you their towel to dry your hands etc, all very polite but still not distancing.
When you ask them to please give you space, you would think you had just spat in their face |

I've been working from home throughout. Plans are being put in place to get staff back into the office but only those who can't work from home or prefer the office. It's going to be a very small percentage of the total staff who can get back into the office. Personally, I'm quite happy to keep working from home and avoid the commute and tensions in the office.
Would be interested to hear how other office workers who are back are finding it and what precautions are being put in place. |

I’ve been working from home throughout and would happily continue. Don’t miss the commute one bit! I’d be happy to go to the office once a fortnight for face to face meetings but use MS Teams or Zoom the rest of the time. |

I'm feeling the same way. The office I work in was already overcrowded so hopefully in the future there will be less emphasis on bums on seats in the office and it is used more as a meeting space. |
