Can we just all be nice? It's getting a tad hostile in here.

Please tell us the last thing that made you feel happy?

For me it was a lovely text from my friend.

kilmarnockish

Was walking down beach today and met an extremely nice person.

Just chatting about life and how it can take turns, but connected and had similarities way beyond what you would expect from a total stranger.

Had a tear in my eye when saying goodbye.

Destiny and fate it seems are mapped out.

Sometimes it's the random interactions that can have the biggest impact.

I'm sure you brightened their day too x

One of the people I work with had his in the office yesterday. They were so excited when I arrived. Must be lovely to get a welcome like that all the time!

Met one of my best friends earlier this evening in the park. She had a baby six weeks ago and this has been the first opportunity for me to meet new mum and daughter, albeit from a distance. It was brief, and it started raining, but I've not been as happy for months.

That's really lovely. I'm sure it probably made her happy too. I can't imagine how hard it must be to have a new baby at the moment.

Yeah, in the build up she'd been expecting meeting friends for coffees, going to new mum groups and that sort of thing, but that's all been torpedoed. They're both healthy though, and she's a lovely kid

I’m far away to my family and lots of friends. But walks, enjoy the good and dad weather, and chats with friends makes my days.

I miss sex living alone, but I miss more a hug, a kiss...

And listen the birds in summer mornings.

Yesterday was a good day for happy things. Out for a walk I saw a big Labrador with his head sticking out of the car window. Ears and jowls flapping, sheer pleasure all over his face. Made me smile.

Got home to a parcel on the doorstep. New dress and shoes and undies. Delighted!

Then facetime with my grandbabies who had been learning some new songs and painting seashells for their part of the garden. That was the best bit.

My wee moggy...coming in to say good morning to me and coorie in. Was always a dog lover before and Mr thinks he's the Cat Whisperer so it makes me chuckle that she comes to me and dinghies him.

Coming home from work yesterday to a happy house that didn't resemble a looted Toys R Us with long-term squatters, having my dinner made for me, and a four-handed back tickle for pudding.

The simple things.

Seeing my daughter trying on her high school blazer. Happy it's arrived and happy it fits. Starting without a transition doesn't even seem to phase her.
