It seems that Fab are now ok with us organising outdoor social meets as long as we maintain social distancing

Improvement or just not worth the effort ?

I personally wouldnt be meeting anyone unless it was totally necessary so social meets off here are just that.

Not necessary.

Same. We’re maintaining strict distancing and not meeting anyone unless it’s unavoidable. I spent an entire month in bed finding it difficult to breathe, and I don’t want L to have to experience anything like that, especially as asthma makes her more vulnerable. We’ll continue to be safe for as long as it takes.

Not worth the risk, never mind "the effort".

Like park up next to each other in the car park and chat through the windows? at least confirms you're real

There's nothing wrong with having a social with anyone, and it's nice that Fab are "allowing" these sort of meets again

As long as people respect the principles of travelling locally and suicidal distancing

Not that that seems to have stopped some people

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

If people want to meet with social distancing in place then I dont see the harm in it

some kind of normality needs to come at some point

I'm thrilled that outdoor social meets are now allowed, not from a Fab point of view though, it is lovely to be able to see friends and family again even from a distance.

I'm sure some fab members are also pleased with this change. As for whether it's worth it or not, I guess that depends on what your expectations are from a meet. I've always insisted on a purely social meet initially anyway.
