So a new law was passed that you can't have sex with anyone unless you stay in the same household.

What about single people?

Couples living apart?

And people like ourself who enjoy having others involved and join us.

Surely this can't be right and against human rights to have freedom of movement.

I understand this these are difficult times and its the unknown of how where and when this virus can be spread.

What is your thoughts on this and what does this mean for the future of our lives as we know it

We are doing just fine for now missing the social side of things more than the sexual side of things.

Just makes you wonder how the hell are they going to police this

It’s a law in England I think

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52880399

It’s very confusing they can order you to leave but can’t forcibly Remove you ? Weird I’m sure .

I get the reason behind it, however how do people expect this to be enforced.

Is PC plod going to be waiting in the wardrobe?

People have to risk assess their own situations. Most of us are adult enough and sensible enough to do that.

This is what I was wondering as well.

I get that the news has posted that its in England but how the hell would you police it.

Is there gonna be more curtain twitchers going Jim call the cops she's/he/they are at it again and it's a different Guy, woman, couple this time.

How can they enforce this on people and expect them to obey the law when the politicians and people coming up with the rules do what they want and visit the secret bits on the side.

I wouldn't be meeting randoms but there is someone I'm missing a lot and I'd have no hesitston in inviting him over should the opportunity arise. I don't think I'd be going to jail for it !

Humans are social creatures and we need interactions, affection, touch, intimacy for our mental wellbeing.

Exactly, it's not just about sex. I'm quite a tactile person and even found it difficult in Morrisons not giving my wee Auntie's a hug or a friend a kiss goodbye. In work too I miss hugs...

Its not just adults who are dealing with this physical and physiologically. children are getting mixed messages as well now. We teach them to embrace people with hugs and kisses and now we have to tell them when they meet grandparents friends family no don't do that don't go near you can talk.

It has never been about sex for us its about the closeness that having contact with each other a touch hug kiss and everything that goes with it.

Think this full situation is going to have a knock on physiological affect on people for years to come

When they see covid numbers going up they'll set laws and tighten restrictions. Until then they don't really have a case to do so i would have thought.

Time will tell x

Saw on the news yesterday grandparents meeting their 6 week old grandchild for the first time. From a distance, not allowed a cuddle. I was actually in tears seeing that, don't even know the people! How frustrating must that have been x

Our new baby grandson is a week old now we have now seen him but no cuddles though and kept our distance but it's a must for our grand kids to hear and recognise our voices etc. yet health visitor been in twice now , no face mask or gloves , touching him, breathing on him. So why exactly is it OK for some stranger who has been around probably dozens of babies, their parents and in thier houses and thats it's OK but not family . Something just not right, safer in hands of family where we wouldn't be so stupid as to leave house if we weren't 100% or if we had been in contact with someone else than some health visitor who's been in and out of houses, god knows what's she's catching.

People will have sex regardless what government say. I know a female who works in a Doctors practice who is active and she goes to peoples houses once twice a week to take blood there for putting the elderly at risk yes she is on here and other adult sites also meeting strangers for sex.`so if people are going to do it they will. A lot of people have total disregard for others.

Do you not trust your family? do your family not trust you?

if your family ensure zero contact with others

and you ensure no contact with others including surfaces you touch etc

then what is the problem?

only thing to break that trust in YOUR situation is the health visitor

otherwise you are clean, your family are clean and if you both trust then you can meet and touch (in my opinion)

Nicola Sturgeon has zero trust in anyone she doesnt even trust herself

her actions will be the fall of business in Scotland and possibly many deaths through suicide due to loss of employment, depression etc

people need to trust each other more.

Apparently this is just in England but a lawyer has said that if a sex worker was to go to someone’s house then they’d have a lawful reason to go as it’s for their work.
