Use soy wax candles, and try different colours as that can vary temperature - white tends to be hotter! Pick ones from somewhere like Trussed that are specifically made for wax play.
Always start dripping further away till you figure out your tolerance and put a sheet or shower curtain does, it can get messy, especially when removing. Make sure skin is clear and free from oils and lotions as much as possible as this can cause undesirable effects and sensations.
Make sure you're free of wax before showering and there's none on anything going in the washing machine or it can clog things up something rotten! |

I also wouldn't use the fragrance wax, the stuff you put in a burner. Made the mistake of using that years ago on my ex wife and it scalded her and left some red marks on her for at least a week. |

I use candles by 'KandlesbyKitten' on etsy, some of the best candles I've tried honestly! But put some form of sheet down to prevent mess, start with the candle further away on less sensitive areas and go from there. It's so much fun |

As long as it’s genuine adult play wax ( you can find it everywhere from eBay to Amazon! We use the Japanese wax from bondara it’s a little hotter when light than some !! Amazing fun though . Enjoy !! Test out on parts of your body that are less sensitive ie forearm , back of hand first then have fun experimenting |
