Totally struggling to sleep after Nightshift, this is brutal 3 hrs and wide awake but feel exhausted. anyone got any ideas

Have you tried traditional methods, herbal medicine, it worked for me, failing that you can always try counting sheep

Blackout blinds, eye mask, ear plugs and Classical music. Not sleeping after a nightshift is a horrid feeling especially if you are back out that night. I come in from work wide awake.

Never had this issue after a night shift but colleagues swear by a relaxing bath and lavender oil on their pillow.

Thanks for the tips been using an eye mask but gets annoying after a while, will definitely get earplugs as the street is full of people cutting their grass and washing their cars.
