It is no more pain full than any other piercing.
It's the fear more than anything.
Dependant on what you do and were you get done, will mean healing time is more or less. It is to do with the blood flow to the area.
When I had a PA. It was 14 days approximately for healing. Clit hoods are about the same.
Careful and religious cleaning is paramount. Infection can be a bitch. |

I have had mine done now for over a year now and wishing I had done it sooner, initially there is a little bit of pain as well as bleeding but this soon goes away, heals really quick as well, it does take a bit of getting used to having a ring / bar down there. |

Had mine for 10 years. Wasnt sore getting done. a good piercer will gell cock and this numbs after 20 mins. Then done. a wee bit uncomfortable when first pee and a throb for a few weeks. worth it in the end  |

Hi
Pain wise about the same as an ear lobe, it's a thin piece of tissue where being pierced. It may bleed a lot, dont be put off by that,urinating the first 2 to 3 days is likely to be painful. This will in fact accelerate the healing process which is about 6 weeks.
Any sexual activity I recommend wearing a condom for the next month.
Personally I don't wear it for penetration as it doesnt really add anything for either party.
Note if you do stretch up to a larger gauge the hole wont heal up like most piercings!

Mines took about 6-8 weeks to fully heal.
Had it for 14 years now and 99% of woman love it.
It's also incredibly ease to stretch that area. Currently have a 12mm gauge ring these days.
If you're unfortunate and bleed. Don't be too concerned to have lots in the first few days, it's very common. |
