Just a background character |
The powers that be seem intent on repeating the Westminster fuckup by announcing they're making an annouceent about easing lockdown on Thurs, but nothing will be eased until a few days after 28th, but erm... eh... wtf...?
So yeah the sun is out, Portobello beach is rammed, but people keeping socially distant and just being 'spoken at' by police. |

Restless? I'd say selfish.
Love to know how many parents had their kids the there running riot but treat any mention of a return to school like it's back to back lessons with Garry Glitter and Michael Jackson |

"Yep, the natives are restless
You're compliant....you just sit in your sand pit with your baps out "
You said you’d keep the private pics private... sakes |

Who says the camera never lies?
Not saying that there weren't a lot of people out there, but a 2 dimensional image, from the proper angle, can make it look a lot more crowded than it actually is
I still think its a bit too soon for the many to be out and about, I'd have given it a couple more weeks if it were up to me.

It was a gorgeous day. What do people expect?
Had I not been at work I absolutely would have gone to the beach with the kids. And I would have driven 40 min each way to get there.
Life has to go on and honestly if that's what's needed for sanity then you do it.
That doesn't make me selfish or foolish. It makes me realistic |

It’s amazing isn’t it. People down at the beach taking pics of other people at the beach then uploading them to social media in a rage that other people are doing exactly the same as them.
When I took a walk along Portobello beach yesterday it was very busy but everyone was respectful of the guidelines of everyone else’s 2 metres barring a couple of cyclists who were showing complete disregard to their surroundings.

With most of the country being paid to do nothing it's no surprise beaches, parks & the like get busy when the sun comes out.
Get people back to work and the beaches will quiet down quickly.
This has gone on long enough. The virus isn't going to vanish and we can't let fear rule our lives.
It's time to get on with life. |

A sizeable chunk are (and I'm well aware many aren't - I'm working too).
The point stands though - it's time to get on & get back to work, life & normality. |

Everyone is entitled to live their lives how they see fit
But ....... when there is a global pandemic is it not better to think of others as well, when this second wave inevitably hits because of people wanting to get back to "normal" I do hope it doesnt hit close to home and make you regret that decision
Just my opinion |
