Just a wee note about struggling while in lockdown. I stay myself and do not have much contact with anyone just now. Luckily I know how to keep my mind busy.
I am a mental health first aider and if anyone is struggling feel free to message me.
It is important to keep talking in these times. It can be about anything but talking is important.

Going by your status today your laughing at your number of replies on this subject compared to 103 replies about guys pegging. I'm sure if this was an NHS website you would get more replies but since its a swinger site clearly pegging wins. I think most people just see your offer as another ploy to get people to chat with you irrelevant to how sincere your offer is .  |

I kinda get your rant on your status. I also want to believe your intention was well meaning.
However, I'm cynical and did read it as some folk will say anything to strike up a conversion.
There are many supportive people on fab and I've seen some fantastic threads over the years where people were showing genuine care and compassion.
I've never once saw these threads in the Scotland forum though  |

Its the latter in this instance because for most if you had an issue with your mental health, the last place you would confide in is with an unknown on a sex site. Hate seeing the issue of mental health being exploited. |

I was thinking of folk in The Lounge rather than this thread specifically. They do, on the surface, seem a more friendly bunch.
I'm suspicious of most folk. Not just the ones who pretend to be friendly. |

This lockdown and virus is so challenging for so many people. We are in the unknown as this hasn’t happened before in any of our lifetimes, feel so sad when I hear of folk that are really struggling.
We both have some friends that are finding the lockdown harder than others, we help when we can as we know people would help us if we ever needed. Just got to stay positive |

Fuck me! I never post anything in here and try to put out a genuine message of support and snidey comments about putting it in here to help me get laid. My friend took her own life last year and nobody saw it coming. When it comes to this issue I don’t use it to get my hole. |

Having re read this thread I don't see anyone has gave him a snidey comment. As always in the forums lots of opinions but that's OK. Think maybe the OP was the one that needed to talk as opposed asking other if they needed to talk . Sad thing is if he had asked instead of offered I'm sure people would have offered him support. Genuinely hope the guy is OK. |

Think this guy genuinely wanted to talk, he might be a mental health first aider but he must have got into it because he has or had dealt with it in past himself.
The fact he mentioned he stays alone and has little contact with people would indicate he needed to talk aswell, maybe offering some help was his way of not showing any weakness. |
