Difficult to pull a sickie when you happen to be the manager lol! I shall look longingly out of the many windows and dream that I am th person in the shorts trying to body swerve every junkie (who will ultimately be missing a top) that tries to tap a poun' off me. Ahh I love summer  |

My desk is by the window so i can look out on people enjoying the sun outside....and perv of course! The worst part is that there is a bar with tables directly below me so i can also hear people enjoying a drink plus we get the smell of food wafting up. Cruel!  |

I own the business so it wouldn't technically be a sickie but I never would anyway,
I think if you're lucky enough to have a job right now, why would you risk it by pulling a sickie just because its a nice day? Shows a fair bit of disregard for your job and your employer. Seems a bit strange to me... |

As far as I'm concerned my employer, and no doubt a quite a few others, get more than they pay for. Many times I've went above and beyond what was required for no reward. The worst offenders I've noticed are management themselves, so not buying into your disregard line. |
