Like most folks been watching all sorts on tv during this lockdown.
Just watched a docu on Netflix covering the career on Duran Duran. Must be getting old as I actually enjoyed it.

Too many to mention plus lets face it the 80's between 84ish and 88ish was generally pish, corporate chart music deviod of soul with a wee catchy beat. Stock Aitken and Waterman soul-less tunes.
Ok someone will tout out a few classics and there where, however music in he 80's died when the re-invented Mod, Ska, post Punk and New Romantic scene died and didn't really come alive until the early days of Brit-Pop/Acid/House-Italian House music kicked in killing the PR suites version of "what the kids want to listen to".
Other opinion are available.
Anyway Spandau or DD
Spandau simply because of "To cut a long story Short", it was true to their New Romantic roots.
Also an argument in terms as this is probably the longest post I've ever written.
