I love camping but a deffo no to LL as the flies & midgies are so bad up there!!!

Wander up to halfords or tescos pop tents are ideal cheap and roomy

You might want to check first as I think they now have restrictions at LLside due to misuse.

It is only wild camping that is prohibited on Loch Lomond, there are some good camp sites. Midges not a problem at this time of year.

we went camping in arrochar last year! was stunning, apart from the midges!

Going to hopefully try and get a couple of nights in a wigwam this summer...
