Hadn't seen anyone asking for meets until last night a couple asked me if I could come to theirs.
I politely declined and they were all fine about it but it took me aback a bit. |

Yes they are unfortunately. We saw a fab friend actually sending live pics and videos and bragging about his meet on a kik group. When we called him out about it he had the most ridiculous reasons then started defending his right to do what he wanted
Yes we reported him and blocked |

There's lots still looking to meet. I guess the boredom has kicked in.
I've not reported any that have asked me, but I doubt I would ever meet up with them even after all this. If they are prepared to meet up just now, what else don't they care about |

Of course, they are!
Just like people are still going to other folks houses to visit, going for walks with others who don't live in the same house, etc etc
Just because we are all told of the guidelines that we should follow, doesn't mean that everyone will do as they are told, not everyone can be classed as being sensible.

I've been asked a few times and not just on fab but on other dating sites, only person I'm meeting is my neighbour to walk the dogs, we stay far enough away on our walks and I wear a mask and carry my hand sanitiser well I alwsy do anyway for when I'm. Using the pooh bags, why cause I get social anxiety big time and I've always had someone else with me when out with the dogs and my daughter is asthmatic so she's not been out the house in 6 weeks I think we're at now, and my son is at work, and other son has tourettes and adhd. Fortunately. I do have a disabled passport that's endorsed by the government I carry with me |

The difference is it not ESSENTIAL travel to go to a fuck buddies just to get your dick wet !
They have made it crystal clear stay in your own household . Dont visit others unless you have to drop off essential shopping or medication.
Regards work ... those who have to go in are social distancing .Cant see you having any social distancing when your fucking! When they come home they are stripping off as soon as they get in and having a shower or bath .Plus washing their clothes when they get in . They are also WORRIED SICK they could be bringing the virus to their loved ones !
Anyone putting their own health AND the health of others at risk for a quick fuck are grossly negligent and selfish beyond belief! |

No one has asked me. But then I keep a low profile. I am Discreet anyway. But if anyone was to ask. It's a no no. I find someone getting to close when shopping stressful just now. If you see anyone on a ventilator you would know how bloody silly it is to meet just now. Even harder if you had to go round turning ventilators of. Your no respect for your self never mind others if you do meet. Idiots need to think first. |

Norway , where the rules are totally different to here . It's more if you are feeling I'll or have felt ill in the last few month to make yourself quarantine for 14days and once done you are free to go to work ,shops , walks , mall. Pubs and food restaurant's are closed but wee coffe shops open for takeaway . Just a lot different. They did shut their borders pretty quick though . No one in no one out for a few days then only in if willing to quarantine for 14days |

All my other police friends are self isolating so I'll sneak out in one of the police cars. Not buying this one. If you're living in the western Isles - one policeman one car possibly at a stretch but I'm calling catfish here. Doubt he's even polis, 'uniform' pic or not. Not doubting the meet request happening, just the legitimacy of the man behind it. |

If anyone thinks there wont be anyone meeting during this, then I'm sorry your going to have your thoughts shattered. Of course people will be meeting and looking to meet, it"s human nature to think...

Yes sadly there is people still doing so.
Had a few requests all from couples incidentally. Reported and blocked every single one.
Know people may feel it's not their business but it puts the life's of others at risk such as their family members etc and more strain on the NHS. It's a disgrace and nothing but selfish. |

The amount of people who's status is clearly indicating a meet is ridiculous
. That said....OPS say meeting in these times is a breach of FAB rules and T&Cs. So why is it that when I have reported people using the COVID reasoning I am blocked from then viewing their profile as if I have been blocked by the user themselves and the profile is clearly still active. Is remedial action really being taken in these cases? If not...then what the point in having a reporting process? |

Ohhh...didn't realise. Thanks for the heads up, makes sense. That said I thought you could report people anonymously with the confidence that it doesn't get back to them...so not sure why the need for blocking I still feel that if peeps are reported under the Covid reasoning and if OPS finds this to be the case...then the profiles shouldn't exist anymore as they should be kicked off the site (in my humble opinion). |

If you catch this virus and recover, you can be left with lifelong health issues.
If you are put on a ventilator, it is an invasive and unpleasant experience.
If you succumb to the virus, it is a horrible way to depart from this life.
I'm dying to get back to fab meets, but I'm not going to risk dying for it. |

You won't be told what action is being taken against the reported profile.
Admin will automatically block you from seeing the profile you reported, as is there is no longer a need for you to see the profile, and to stop repetitive reporting.
Fab admin will then deal with the reported profile appropriately.

Report profiles trying to meet, let admin take a look.
Don't try and put them on the forum that's against site rules. |
Reply privately (thread closed by moderator) | |
Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.
******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).
Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.
Admin
PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.
Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:
--
Your feedback has been saved.
A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.
By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.****** |
