Would you leave FAB?

We very rarely comment on the forums anymore they are either very repetitive (part n parcel of being here a long time I guess) or tedious with the same folk pinging back and forth their clear dislike for one another.

Personally we couldn’t care less if they were here or not but wondered how many people would actually leave.

Wouldn’t bother me, I use it but more because it’s there and part of the site, I wouldn’t say I would miss it tbh although it can be fun and no I wouldn’t leave fab because of it

I probably wouldn't leave

But the site would definitely lose something for me if the forum disappeared

Makes no odds to me. Think there was a stat way back from someone in the know that only 1% or less of registered users use the forums.

It gives Fab more of a community feel. I only come on when I'm bored, then I tend to remember why I avoid forums.

I was here for nearly 2years before i engaged in the forums. Good fun and pass the time but i could live without them.

I maybe wouldn't leave but I wouldn't log on as much. I very rarely meet people or look to

The main reason I am on Fab is for the Forums

Couldn't care less used to enjoy actual sharing of views now it's kinda like a soap opera and can be hilarious when two of the important (as they see themselves) players fall out

I wouldn't leave, but I would check in far less often.

I think I'd get bored and not log on as much.

Agree with the it's very repetitive same old questions being asked then occasionally you get a thought provoking post then all hell breaks loose

The forums wouldn't sway me to stay or leave. They serve a purpose but t's not the real reason anyone joins this site. You cannot always gauge sarcasm or tongue in cheek from the written word but it can help identify the people with a similar taste in humour or other topics.

So I guess the good thing about the forums (Fora) is that you can prejudge someone before you potentially meet

And the bad thing is, You can pre judge someone before you meet.

Although the forums can be entertaining at times

This.

I know they'll not be for everyone but I really do wish more new folk would come onto the forums...variety is the spice of life afterall. Spoke to someone the other day who messaged me off the back of a forum comment and said they'd be too scared to post it in the forum. I think that's a shame. I'm the first to have a wee tease and a wind up but no one should take this place or the forumites so seriously that their opinion would ever actually impact on your real life.

We need more fresh meat in here...

I’ve a mental picture of you salivating at the thought of getting your teeth into that fresh meat .

It helps to pass the time, and also acts as a great filter mechanism for people I'd never want to meet

We check the forum occasionally and have probably only posted more recently due to having some more free time. When back to normal we probably won’t be on it as much so we wouldn’t leave fab if there was no forums.

I hardly ever bother with them. Can take them with a pinch of salt.

Fab is much more than just a few online discussions and opinions.
