Like him or loathe him. ??

He can be an ignorant fuck not letting people speak at times but he challenges people's views unlike many presenters who just arse lick the snowflakes and bow down to today's stupid perceived rights, views or pressure groups .

Thought it was hilarious when he said he wants to identify as a penguin and people should respect his rights to be a penguin.

I like him. Blunt at times but not scared to say what he thinks.

Very occasionally I see him challenge someone who is a total whalopper and he puts them in their place.

More often though, he employs the same tactics as a lot of men in arguments - talk loudly and over the person , repeating the same points until they think "bugger this".

Nine times out of ten he's a plain bully, with complete disrespect for others and their opinions, and will not listen to the other side of a debate.

He's always right and damn the rest

Totally agree with you there

There is too much ‘gutter journalism ‘ in the news and tv nowadays

Totally agree, he's arrogant, blinkered and full of self importance. Correctly challenging an occasional person doesn't excuse being a bully or any of the other things he's done.

Who was the Scottish Doctor who put him in his place when he challenged him and the Doc asked him where and when he got his PhD. He was was quick to lay into Sturgeon about Her Medical advisor flouting the rules but, not a word about Prince Charles or the Queen moving around. Nothing but a bully. Shouting over the top of someone you disagree with to prove your point isn’t journalism.

Like him or loather him,I think his role is simply to be confrontational and argumentative and he excels at that.

However, one thing I agreed with him related to why this Government didn't go into lock down a week to ten days before it actually did. What a difference that would have made.

He was also quite vociferous in challenging the government in allowing the Cheltenham meeting with 60,000+ people and some of the international rugby matches to go ahead and allowing people to meet and mingle.

I wondered why the Scotland v France game went ahead, and even more so when it emerged that the first CV death in Scotland was a French rugby fan.

Perhaps CMO Calderwood had tickets booked for that game!

"He was involved in phone tapping of young girl who was murdered ,scum in its worst form"

The only reason he escaped some jail time was that he dissapeared to America as soon as it started kicking off...lived there for a few years and came back when the dust and court cases had been settled.

Cant actually believe he is still on TV to be honest and didnt spent a little time in the shower blocks trying not to pick up the soap.

Scottie McClue is and was (He is still on the Radio) a lot more tongue in cheek than Morgan and Scottie would more often than not allow the caller to make a fool of them selves before he would slaughter them in a Morgan style.

Not to mention he admitted to publishing known photoshopped pictures depicting British soldiers abusing prisoners. His type are everything that is wrong with the media.

Just watched him absolutely roast Hancock.

I’ve no time for Morgan or Hancock but he’s doing a fine job of holding the govt’s feet to the fire.

I think the phone hacking scandal showed what type of man he is. Under his watch a murdered schoolgirls phone was hacked remember.

A few soundbites on TV that you may agree with doesn't make him a nice person.

He is scum.

He’s a buffoon . The dowler case . Then he’s championing gun control in America , while raging we aren’t stock piling nuclear weapons ( the biggest of guns ) . Then shouting down he’s point . And they aren’t even straight answer points . Lots are broad answers . Can’t stand him or he’s sidekick who’s basically Kay burley of her channel

https://youtu.be/NpMd_tjzrOQ if I'm allowed to post, this is the video of piers vs Scottish Clinical director.

Piers is just a loud lout. He bullies while Susanna referees. How is this journalism? If you're going to interview, then respectfully ask and interrogate, not aggressively shout.

I stopped watching GMB because of him.

Its like saying a child abuser is a good guy because he finishes his dinner in prison every day. The guy hacked peoples phones. He should be in jail not still flouting his pretend opinions on tv to massage his ego.....just my view.

O o O oo

If he let people answer and then question what they have answered it would be a better way to interview people. He asks some of the questions most of us want answers to, but sadly if he is shouting people down then we don't get to hear the answers as the people give up speaking.

I can see people refusing to go on the show soon, which going by how he reacted to Matt Hancock today I think he thinks it is his show.

Can't stand the guy. Completely dishonest, no matter how often I end up agreeing with his sentiments when interrogating (its certainly not interviewing) others.

He was involved in the phone hacking, they hacked that wee murdered girls mobile which indirectly gave false hope because the police could detect that her messages were being accessed.

Lots of journalists were up to the phone hacking thing. Nit saying it was right but that's just how it was.

As I said in my original post, the guy is an ignorant fuck but he does ask the questions that need asked, unfortunately he dosnt get the answers because he's to busy interrupting them to get the answer.

Someone mentioned earlier he wanted guns banned in America, that's not quite right, he wanted automatic weapons banned. He was called out on it though, why not go for a complete ban as handguns kill more people than automatic weapons. He never went for the full ban as he would have Fucked up his career in America at the time. Sometimes I like his interviews other times he's just a loudmouth bellend.

Some might even say he got himself embroiled deep in American politics as a contraversial figure in order to detract from questioning by the Metropolitan Police. The whole American gig of his was set up by Murdoch to get him across the pond and busy elsewhere while the shit hit the fan over here.

It was Andy coulson who was editing news of the world when they hacked Milly dowlers phone.

Undoubtedly Morgan knew it was happening at the mirror, where he was also caught up in an insider dealing scandal.

I wouldn't have him on my Christmas card list or invite him over for dinner, but he's the only journalist/presenter to put Government ministers under the cosh with the direct but somewhat blunt questions he does ask.

I think his biggest problem is his continual interruption of the person he is asking questions of.

I assume most invited politician's must 'cack' themselves when they know they are duty bound to go his programme.
