Loads of decent priced hotels in the city. For accom i'd avoid the RLD as it can get a bit dodgy at night. The Jordaan, Leidseplein and Nieumarkt areas are all great with good bars and cafes. Enjoy! |

The last twice i've been we've booked an apartment in the Nieuwmarkt area. Very close to where you want to be and if theres a few going it works out cheaper than a hotel, defo worth checking out and i can PM you the site if you want to check it out |

i was there last year and i stayed at the globe hostel very cheap and cheerfull but also very suitable for the price u pay, 24 hour bar and food ,pool room,smoking room, 24 hour sports on tv, plus is rite in middle of the red light district and has plenty coffee shops all around it walking distance mmmmm hope use enjoy am going back in july and cant wait |

There is also a large boat that has cheap rooms and is very central. It is big btw so no rocking, cant recall the name but was about 50 euros a night. Hope thT HELPS |

Glad you posted this as im looking at going in November for my birthday and just spent the last half hour looking at some hotels, so will check the ones mentioned out too |
