If you have a holiday booked for late this summer what would you do?

1. Cancel now and lose your deposit.

2. Pay the remainder using a credit card and hope you are covered if the travel company goes bust.

What do folks reckon?

Don’t cancel ! Gives you something to look forward to once the dust settles.

Postpone if possible to a later date.

anywhere everywhere

Was meant to be going away on holiday 7th April but company called me up and postponed it to 7th July plus saved me money.

If still not allowed to fly then well I will talk with them and see what my options are

Was discussed on Radio Scotland the other day.

Best option is to pay and you then should get all money back.

If you cancel, it will depend on small print, not only will you loose the deposit, you might even end up owing them more

I just don't see a scenario where anyone is allowed to travel abroad for holiday reasons this year.

Even when countries break the back of this virus they ain't gonna be opeong their doors to the world straight away.

Ive not done anything about my holiday yet with regards refunds but I'd imagine I'll try nearer the time

We have ours in late June, we actually can’t be arsed going now and do hope it’s cancelled as tbh, we probably won’t go anyway. Can’t move it to next year as we just don’t have the time, or leave, for another holiday.

Knowing our luck, all holidays will be cancelled and refunded.....up to the day before ours haha

Pay and fingers crossed.

You should be covered one way or the other, either through atol or abta or your insurance company.
