couple, us we him her.

At a time like this when the country needs to pull together he's coming out saying "I told you so!"

It's not the right time for political one upmanship it serves no purpose other than trying to undermine everything the government is trying to do.

For the record,I read no newspapers,I have no allegiance to any party I did not vote for any of them as I don't agree.

So I have no axe to grind other than he really should keep shtum for the time being.

At times like these the opposition has an important role to play in holding the government to account and to scrutinise the decisions made.

He'd still be sitting with Dianne Abacus wondering if they had enoug coins to go round if they were in charge. The mind boggles. Nobody foresaw this and to sit there and play I told you so sums up why he lost

Corbyn is irrelevant. I don’t see why people get upset over him. He’s superfluous.

He’s an inherently decent man who was too weak for the task. He will be a footnote.

So spending money on nationalizing water, trains, electric etc is the same as the government paying peoples wages through a unprecedented time The man is a bigger fool than i thought he was, best he shut up and self isolate for a few months until they get a real leader. Will take my hat off to ed balls on tv the other night for supporting the governments measures and never thought i would say that.

I disagree. It's more helpful to make sure the opposition work as they should during the decision making process. Otherwise what's the point of parliament? If their decisions are not to be scrutinised, Just make BJ the dictator.

Hi.

Maybe you could try to explain your point instead of just insulting anyone who has an opinion.

Central

Government always needs to have its actions open to evaluation and criticism. This is especially true when in a lethal crisis, where tens of thousands more deaths are made possible by lack of appropriate action, just in a small number of days. People will put their own interpretation on what limited information that they hear but politicians are paid to do their jobs, for the country's benefit. I'd prefer them to do their jobs well, even if I disagree with their politics.

That's fair enough.

But Corbyn sitting there saying I told you so really it's that is it?

These are times no one could predict the present government hasn't held back with anything, of course things wont run smoothly and mistakes will be made but each party needs to work together not against each other. Just shows the man's morality.

Hi Eva.

You didn't make any point, aside from calling me attention seeking.

Do you believe that the opposition party should not function as an opposition party at the moment and not hold the government to scrutiny?

You're quite right.

I made an observation.

This is the last reply you'll have from me.

Good evening.

You're wrong. Decisions need to be challenged and scrutinised as theyre made otherwise it's a pointless exercise. Holding a Public Enquiry in 9 months time is simply too late.

Jeremy Corbyn is entitled to his opinion. However, he is exercising that right with, what they call, "the luxury of opposition".

In other words, he can say what he likes, as he won't ever have to implement anything.

After next week, he will be a backbencher. A decent man in the main, but one that twice couldn't convince the country on his socialist dream.

I saw his interview. Stupidity at the highest level. He is in opposition and he should criticise the government. But what he told pretty much sums up why he lost the elections.

He claims that the government is spending a lot of money now. So the government has always had the money and they refused to use it. They are using it only now.

How can a top level politician be so dumb? He wants the government to spend the money spent during emergency during the normal time too? How long can the government keep paying money for people like this? Right now, the government is doing the right thing as it is an emergency. But they cannot do it forever.

And this is his "I told you so" argument? So hilarious.
