Grantham

I believe that they were cancelled last week.

There may be some background work being done, but hundreds of civil servants aren't on the Eurostar this morning.

"deals work on what benefits both parties no one will sign a deal that is not good for them."

Are you suggesting the UK has an option to make no trade deals?

There you go. You're either joking, or have no clue about what the implications of "WTO rules".

Do you realise that trading on WTO rules would be worse than the worst imaginable trade deal?

You should read up on what it would actually mean for UK businesses.

I think after all this shit is over every country will be happy to trade with anyone on wto as long as they can make a buck the eu will be decimated by this virus.

We are failing the first test of brexit with investors having more confidence in the euro bouncing back quicker after the covid 19 pandemic than the pound, which is part of the reason the pound has sunk so low over the past couple of days.

Good news for Rees Mogg, the Johnson family and all those who own off shore investment firms that trade currencies.

Brexit is dead. By a week today the talks will be formally cancelled and there will be a one year extension. By the end of the summer all of the world will be in such a shitty state that the very concept of how international trade works will be turned upside down.

I really think Boris is stupid enough to just push through a no deal and blame it on the EU for being too busy saving lives, and Trump will tell him to fuck off because he didn't shut down th country
