They’ll get a pension depending on length of service. The BIG question for them - and ex-Commissioners, humble officials who’ve now lost their jobs, etc. - is the tax situation. Their pensions are taxed at source (Brussels) and couldn’t be double taxed in any other Member State. But since the UK is no longer a MS, who knows... |

He's an ex commissioner with a gold plated pension, his Mrs is an ex MEP with a gold plated pension, and his son is an ex Brussels research assistant and now a Westminster MP.
With that pedigree I would think that he would be the ultimate expert. |

I’d pay our MP’s more, though I’d allow them no expenses and hold them far better to account. They should receive a wage commensurate with their responsibility. |
