"You can't blame him, he'll be thanking you for your support. "
I hope he does honour his promises but I do wonder how deep his pockets are. If as is his habit he lets you down please remember what you were promised and don’t let him get away with it. Best of luck |

There's a positive attitude, and there's closing your eyes, sticking your fingers in your ears and humming to ignore what's happening around you.

My most favourite examples of a positive attitude are:
'We don't need more life boats. It'll never sink.' - Titanic
'Yes its hydrogen but it will never catch fire' - Hindenburg
'Of course we should invade Russia. Moscow will fall before winter' - Hitler
'We don't need secret service men on the tailboard runners. I'll be safe in Dallas' - JFK
'I only need one body guard. What can go wrong in a hotel kitchen?' - Bobby
'What's the harm in talking to Neil Andrew?' - Corbyn |

"For those in Tory held seats let the money flow into your constituency.
For those in labour held seats, austerity continues on.
"
The money won't ever come to the actual people in any tangible form. If there even is any money for this.
Besides, if the Tories cared about the less well off, why have they been crushing them with austerity for the last nine years?
And that's not even taking into account the huge drain on public finances generated by the build up to brexit and the forthcoming drain from the brexit withdrawal period. |

Despite this huge drain on the country's wealth the super rich increased their wealth by 11% while the poor got poorer.

I mean, you're literally ignoring reality.
Unless you're a multi millionaire. In which case. Then even better times are set to roll.
But for the rest of us, why should be blindly optimistic?

Apparently this particular brand of cool aide has us blind to the fact we will be worse of as a nation, but allows us to celebrate the fortunes of the super rich because somehow we can live vicariously through them
Personally if only half the promises Boris made are true I will be better off. Not a little. A lot. I plan to make enough money next year to take my company international.
I am not negative, I have nothing to whine about. I have nothing to be bitter about. |

Right. I am from "the north". And I know why people voted leave. But the fact is, leaving will exasperate all these problems. The EU was blamed the the failings of the British government.
I can be optimistic. But I am not blindly optimistic about the future for poor, disable, disadvantaged, elderly, young and otherwise vulnerable people in society who are set for a very very tough time.
To be optimistic against all known information is just silly. We had several chances to vote for a better future. But people chose to vote a more severe version of the same thing we've had for years. |
