The election result is valid despite the open lying and the Prim Minister avoiding serious questioning, including hiding going to the extent of hiding in a fridge. Votes cast despite this being widely known.
We have a first past the post election system. That is okay if leaders understand that their majority does not represent overwhelming support.
The Conservative win cam from a 1.2% increase in vote share and 56% of the seats from 44% of the vote.
If you want to unite the country, you have to listen to it.

"Well nice to see a good loser on here easy someone who accepts the vote, if people had done that 3 years ago we could have saved a lot of hurt."

If you see me as a "loser" then you've missed the point of the post.
Democracy does not mean that you support decisions that you disagree with. You continue to oppose and fight them if you think that they are wrong.
If you are in power you understand what that power is based on be it +4% for the referendum or -6% for the general election. |
