Has anything you've read changed your vote?

After reading a fair few threads, I get the impression political discussions/arguments are largely pointless. Nobody seems to be swayed by facts or reasoning. We only agree with things we're already thinking and argue against things that don't match what is in our heads.
So... am I right or wrong? Have any of you changed your view on how to vote as a result of reading anything here or elswhere? |

"I should have specified I'm talking about the upcoming UK election. are there others we could be voting in?! I don’t want to miss out on putting my ‘x’ in. "
I just realised some people might have thought I was talking about a Brexit vote. |

Yes. Personal integrity matters hugely. There is no way I could vote for a liar like Johnson, or his cohorts. Our local MP would have potentially had my vote as he was kicked out of the Tory party, but ‘rejoined’, and now supports the Liar in Chief. So, it has influenced me. |

It's great to see facts still matter to some people. I'm pleasantly surprised. |

"Whoever I cast a vote for today, it is most unlikely to make any difference to the outcome - the Labour candidate, Kerry McCarthy, is a shoe-in.
"
That's the problem in most places. Votes rarely make a difference. The voting system needs to be changed. I doubt it will be any time soon, sadly. |

Yes, I voted tactically based on several things I read, and based on the party I voted fors manifesto being good enough to get me to change to vote for them. |
