Have you decided who to vote for?

Now we're in the final run up to the election, gave you decided who's going to get your vote?

Are you still undecided? Are you voting for the same party? Or are you voting for someone different this time? You don't have to say who you are voting for, just if you have decided?

Myself, I was unsure at the beginning of the campaign but I'm voting for the same party that I always have.

I'm undecided between the party which has the best manifesto (in my opinion), and voting tactically to keep the Tories out.

NOT Tories. They've fucked up this country for the past 9 and a bit years. They're now lying through their teeth and saying they will sort out the absolute mess they've created.

It's Election Week!

Aaaaaand I just found I'm in a different constituency to the one I thought I was, so instead of being relatively spoilt for choice between one of the few Brexit party candidates in the South East to hold Boris' feet to the fire (for those who want the EU's mitts off us, not bending over for them ala Boris) and who probably stand most for democracy out of the main parties (leaving is a means to an end).

Or a Conservative candidate who actually wants said leave and not Boris's Trap, and even gets that the 'climate' fuss, real or not, is really all about taking everything off us - because of Carbon (and that's Carbon not Corbyn), and cramming us into tiny fully surveilled living spaces to stop the world ending. Or even an independent!

Well now I've found out I've moved so much I'm not even in that constituency either, so now I'm stuck with the basic choice of Blue, Red, Yellow or Green. I can't bring myself to vote for any of them, not helped that they all want to hand Britain to the EU superstate, so I've decided I will have to spoil my vote

Even better: Now I've found out my electoral address is different to the current one on my licence/id and I have no polling card meaning no participation at all, so I can't even spoil my vote. Wonderful!

I'll sit this one out then.

The labour leaver is a curious one.

On one side, vote to hand more power and money to the banks and the top 0.001%. And on the other hand a vote for labour, who at least claim to oppose that kind of thing.

Excellent. If more hard brexit leavers could spoil their votes. That would be nice.

I’m more interested in what’s going on in 6 months, 12 months.

Funny you bring that up, Constituency voting; because I actually do not like mine!, but I’m not going be a douche and get all emotional about it. I’m voting for Labour. The party.

Honestly. I don’t despise Johnson. Such a strong, negative outlook.

If the Tories were a better party, then I’d vote for them.

I think Boris is just Boris. I’d never put someone down, personally, when it comes to politics. I’m not a right winger. That’s all.

Bloody found it quite hard to watch May’s exit speech to be fair!

You do realise that traditionally, the opposition to the EU has come from the left?

Why on earth I'd support European federalism with policy dictated by the ECB (a subsidiary of world bank) as a socialist is beyond me.

Indeed. But things change. The EU has given us a level of protection against the Tories.

When it's gone, their real fun will start.

I don't like the EU. I don't like Labour especially. But I don't see the point of allowing the Tories to unleash more austerity on the most vulnerable people in society, unleash more destruction on the environment.

Voting labour. Food banks at an all time high, obviously disabled and unwell people being forced to take humiliating medical questionnaires by non qualified pen pushers, people working full time but still unable to afford basic living standards, cuts to public services, this entire brexit fuckery.

I'm lucky most of the above doesn't affect me, but my conscious will not let me vote for a party that continually strives to keep the poor, poor.

There are literally no redeeming features to the torys.

Brighton - even Hove!

I’ll be voting for the Greens and Caroline Lucas. My son is disabled and the conservatives tried, through their PIP process, to deny him the money he needs to get to college when he was getting it through DLA. How on earth was he supposed to learn to be independent if they stopped his ‘personal independence’ money? However, they didn’t count on me and I won the tribunal. So simply for that nasty, mean and anti-disabled financial attack on my son, I’d never vote Conservative. They tried to pick on the most vulnerable in society and it’s a disgusting attitude to take.

couple, us we him her.

I am totally unsure and confused as to who to vote for.

I don't have any strong affiliation to any of the lying fraudsters that run our country or the lying fraudsters that want to do the same.

All I know is this.

More homelessness and people sleeping rough than ever.

Food banks and the use of increasing all the time.

Trades shortage lack of investment in skilled tradesmen and the influx of cheaper labour has changed the building trade and is destroying craftsmanship.

NHS waiting times and the amount of bureaucracy and red tape that's strang ling our national health service.

Cuts in policing and national defense is shocking a once mighty navy has been depleted to to two aircraft carriers and a rowing boat.

Climate and environment.

Sanctions should be brought in against all food manufacturing and supplying to reduce packaging.

Ban zero hours contract's there should be a simple system.

Your either employed or self employed. Or unemployed all these ridiculous contracts around that are all 100% geared in favour of the employer and making them richer and richer.

Education

Increase education funding not only for the education of the children but maintenance of the facilities trust me it's my job most schools are falling apart all because funds are rightfully spending money on books and teaching.

I could go on but these are some of the thing's closest to my heart and tbh I can't see any of the main parties representing in what I believe in as I will have to sacrifice one thing for another depending on who I vote for.

I am not an intelligent man who has a poor education and qualifications I'm not politically aware.

I just have life experiences and a strong sense of right and wrong.

If you voted green, as an example, and a few other disillusioned

People did, that would force the other parties to be more "green" in order to win back those voters.

Voting for a party which you believe in regardless, can also help to affect change.

I don't understand politics. I have voted the same as my dad, he is very passionate and over the last few years I have seen him so stressed and angry at politics I swear he will have a heart attack over it, so my vote has mirrored his to make him happy and hopefully he will get the result he wants and reduce his angst.

Wether people think the way i voted is right or wrong I don't care, this is what's important to me right now.

If everyone thought the same then nothing would change.

Every vote counts

If I voted lib-dem or green they will not get in any way "

When people come up with the "if you didn't vote you can't complain" argument you'll know that you did your bit regardless of whether your party wins or not.

Every vote would count more if we had Proportional Representation. As it is, whoever has the most votes will have less votes than the rest. Whether this is Labour or Conservative, the winning party will only represent a minority of the population...

It would be the same with Proportional Representation. If you look at the results of the last election, Conservative had over 13 million votes, Labour over 12 million votes, all the rest added together means more people voted for others than the party that won.

It's usually always the way if you have more than 2 options. It doesn't matter what method you use.

"I’ll be voting for the Greens and Caroline Lucas. They tried to pick on the most vulnerable in society and it’s a disgusting attitude to take.

well according to the conservative candidate in hastings and rye (amber rudds old seat) she said they should be paid than the minimum wage because they don't care or understand about money!

and then you wonder why they never shake of the "nasty party!" image...."

She could be voted out. She got in on less than 400 vote majority.

A moderator in the forum will follow the forum rules. If a conservative forumite has broken the rules and been banned, then its hardly anyone else’s fault.

It's not being smug, sorry if it comes over like that. I am only saying, for balance, that I can not fault any of the care or additional services the NHS has provided for her.

That includes visits to A&E where she has generally been seen within 15 minutes and treated within an hour.

Ah, I’m not talking NHS. PIP is operated by a private company and they tried to stop my son getting what he was entitled to. I forced them to give in by winning the tribunal. My point is that a government whose policy is to enable a situation to take place whereby needed money is taken away from a disabled person is reprehensible. I’ve used the NHS. I’d gladly pay more taxes for them.

Yeah, because to be in cahoots with the site owners you first have to show your Labour party membership card.

I must admit it’s not been a pleasant couple of years politics wise. But I’m rather pleased the politicians have had to work hard for that time and not had an easy ride of it. At least, I hope they’ve been working hard. I’m never sure that any of them do really. Get others to draft replies to letters etc.

Under the terms of this Withdrawal Agreement, all the bilaterals, including trade, need to be wrapped up and ratified by Dec 31, 2020.

If not, and if there is no extension, we are looking at No Deal - again - 12 months from now.

The reason for Dec 31, 2020 is that Jan 1, 2021 is the start of the new financial cycle for the EU.

50,000 new nurses? Let’s see what the bbc fact finder says about that, shall we?

.....”Both inside the NHS and among independent health commentators there is agreement that around 50,000 more nurses than now will need to be working in the service in five years' time.

The Health Foundation, Nuffield Trust and King's Fund think tanks, in a joint report , argued that 5,000 nurses will have to be recruited annually from overseas over four years to avoid staff shortages even if other initiatives are pursued to boost the workforce such as reintroducing maintenance grants.

That would mean 20,000 more internationally recruited nurses by 2023, considerably more than the Conservative plan.

Training, they argue is essential, but it is not an immediate solution as it takes three years for nurses to qualify.....”

Labour a bunch of rich people convincing poor people to vote for rich people by telling poor people that 'other' rich people are the reason they're poor.

I'm not a Labour supporter. Not everyone who is against the Tories is a Labour supporter

So your nonsensical and completely incorrect rhubarb is even more irrelevant.

you keep telling us all yr not a labour supporter yr protesting to much mate we have all read yr posts over the weeks you could t be more labour than if you were called Jeremy thornberry or John Abbott lol

You missed your customary personal insult. Do you want another pop? see if you weren’t labour that would be an insult "

Why?

Besides didn't you say you were Labour except in this election.

And why do you care anyway what I think? You usually just come on here with the random personal insults and no explanation. I have no clue why you're so irked by me that you make up all kinds of nonsense and random accusations about me being a secret Labour supporter or being too posh for weatherspoons.

"Exactly. It doesn't matter who you voted for. It's time for the whole country to come together again under a Conservative government and get Brexit done.

What does ‘Get Brexit done’ actually mean? Only the withdrawal agreement has been agreed. We won’t ‘leave’ until the end of 2020. The there will be years of trade negotiations. "

"Get BREXIT done" means roughly the same as "strong and stable".

"Corbyn or king Arthur?

Robin Hood "

Robin Hood. The sheriff of Nottingham kills a poor person. The press says it was Robin. The poor lynch Robin Hood. End of what would have really happened.

The only part which remains is two men spending 15 minutes beating the crap out of each other because they wouldn't wait 20 seconds to let the other pass first. A satire on modern traffic.

I saw they forgot to make a box for him so I drew one in. I didn't see him in the results thus proving..... the whole thing was rigged!!!!
