I don’t want to know who you are looking at changing your vote to and from....
Just interested to see how many people out there are looking or thinking of voting tactically..... |

Don't need to. Labour or SNP will get in where I am which means if the Tories fail to get a majority then we will end up with a 'disastrous' Corbyn/Sturgeon government. Of course, Brexit would be more disastrous but the Daily Express readers don't get told that... |

I'm just voting for who I think is the least worst option |

"I don’t want to know who you are looking at changing your vote to and from....
Just interested to see how many people out there are looking or thinking of voting tactically....." I have made three separate donations to the party of my choice and put my vote in the post .
The election result is absolutely crucial this time. The last thing we need is a terrorist supporting PM who is out to destroy the economy .
To answer your question. I would never contemplate voting tactically . |

I personally don't think sentiment has been taken into account at all.
People will either vote for Brexit or National Agenda. Corbyn gained a lot of ground on a national agenda last time so it may work again.
Personally I can understand leaving and seeing where the chips fall (Tory). I cannot understand negotiating a new deal yet staying exactly where we are now but with fewer benefits (Lab).
Unless voters support Labours national agenda, I would think leave voters would go Tory...any remain voters would have to go Libs.

"I have voted tactically in the passed but not this time, decision is easy for me"
I know how important Brexit is to you.
There is a way of letting the elite know just how important.
Put an X against the Conservative Party and an X against the Brexit Party on your ballot paper.
This way, you make a very strong statement.

Mrs May isn't standing, is she?
Mind you, it's always possible Mr Johnson will need to bribe the political wing of British terrorists, just like his predecessor.

"I would never vote tactically and don't understand why anyone would betray their principles to do so."
It is tricky.
Voting tactically usually implies voting for someone whom you would at least partially agree with, to keep out someone who has a horrific voting record and is a member of a party you can't stand. Rather than voting for someone who completely betrays your principles.
For example, voting for ukip or Brexit party to keep the Tories out. Completely pointless.
But voting Lib Dem or Labour to keep the Tories out (or vice versa). Would be at least a way to vote for someone with policies you had some affinity for.
I'm definitely considering a tactical vote for the first time. |

Yes and No this time around. I'm fairly central so actually finding a party to vote for is a tricky one these days!! Lib dems are barely liberal these days and not democratic either who used to be the go to party for those who are neither left or right.
I've voted twice for the party I'll vote for on thursday and once a different way. But I will be voting this way to hopefully get rid of our Tory MP. It's a two horse race in my constituency. |
