My understanding is that Corbyn's taxes still fall short of our European neighbours. So not exactly radical, as thr media would have us believe.

But as there are , believe it or not more than the 27 eu nations in the world, contrary to the remainers lol there are so many others on lower tax rates so the point is still valid. And just because others tax high is logical to just join the flock? Lol

Yes, if it means improving the quality of life for the country's citizens. The Scandinavian countries seem to be onto something in creating a society that works well.

Yep... Big corporations will all bugger off, like they did when talk started about national minimum wage eh?! They make far too much money for withdrawl to be more financially viable than staying and actually paying their tax bills

And Corbyns stance on Brexit is irrelevant when he wants us to decide what is the BEST option... You only think Boris is for leaving because that is what he is saying to get your bloody vote... He was a remainer until he found out how lucrative leaving might be for him n his mates

Highest tax payers etc isn’t just the big bad corporations though is it? Lots of hard working people out there too! And as far as saying leave just to get our vote? Hmm we could have just sidled up with the remainders and said let’s do it your way , after all lots of the politicians, like Boris will lose the chance of gravy train jobs in Brussels if we leave ??

£8 a month extra fin tax or someone on £80,000 a year isn't going to have anyone fleeing the country.

But it’s not just the income tax is it!

Capital gains tax on things you sell

Property purchase tax

Increased corporation tax

Increased tax on dividends

Other taxes like stamp duty on land tax

Reduced inheritance tax allowances

Etc etc always more on all parties policies if you dig deeper!

Hi before anyone thinks they know my politics please pause. My comments are aimed at encouraging ppl to research discuss and find the information out there rather than be the, well my dad voted, lib lab con green, etc, so it’s good enough for me!

We should all explore the facts out there individually as all of the parties have changed over the decades so your parents choice of party may have been right then but it’s not a given that they are now! A true political party should discover the way forward for meeting the voters needs!

Please everyone vote! And if you decide not to mark for a candidate a spoiled paper I hear is one way to tell the politicians that none of them have got right as far as you can see!

They are expensive countries to live in and they hardly have a defence budget of any kind.

If Labour get in then I'd imagine more people would be voting to stay in in the second vote, it would at least to some degree be more stable than an outright Labour out of EU place. Lots of what they have in their manifesto wouldn't be legal in a committed to EU membership.
