I believe there is no legal requirement for any political party to have an internal democratic structure.
As long as they obey the democratic rules of this country they can do whatever they want with their internal processes.

They do have an effect on all our lives, in the UK. They've dragged the Tory party further to the right. And they, in their former guise as ukip, have helped to ruin the country for the benefit of the Americans, the Russians and a few ultra elite rich people here.
So effective have they been, that people still support and vote for them. |

The point is that for a group claiming to love democracy their "supporters" have no say in policy or selection.
It is run by those providing the money and they do as they wish without oversight or reference to anyone.
The model for "taking back control".

When the UKIP vote collapsed at the last GE, 2/3 went back to Labour and 1/3 to Conservative.
It makes sense really. Racism and bigotry is more widespread in Labour than Conservative. |

Nigel Farage after 20 years of determined effort could be about to do the thing he was born to do ie deliver us from the tyranny of Brussels .
He slowly opened up many people’s eyes to what membership of the EU was all about and then by getting enough votes for his party at the time (UKIP ) he scared the establishment in charge ( Cameron and Osbourne at that moment in time but may as well have been Swinson or Corbyn ) into granting a vote on the subject only because those establishment politicians never believed the great unwashed would be organised enough or clever enough to see past the wall to wall propaganda.
Then ( and this is the really shocking and unbelievable bit) , when the country voted to Leave in the biggest democratic exercise we have ever seen we witnessed a disgusting campaign to overturn that decision which is still going on to this day and involves all the big parties including Conservative Party remainers , Labour , LD and SNP . Even the Greens and PC have revealed their true anti democratic colours not to mention posters on here .
Our Parliament has now contaminated itself terribly and it’s going to take a long time to win back our trust .
The Brexit party may only take 5% of the votes next month but those 5% could turn out to be critical Labour voters in marginal Labour seats where the Labour Leave voters have been so spat upon and shat upon that those ignored people then voting for the Brexit party may allow the Tories to sneak in with a majority and get us out of the EU in Jan .
If that does come to pass can anyone argue with the view that whether you like him or not Farage has been the most influential politician our country has had in history ? |

"Nigel Farage after 20 years of determined effort could be about to do the thing he was born to do ie deliver us from the tyranny of Brussels .
He slowly opened up many people’s eyes to what membership of the EU was all about and then by getting enough votes for his party at the time (UKIP ) he scared the establishment in charge ( Cameron and Osbourne at that moment in time but may as well have been Swinson or Corbyn ) into granting a vote on the subject only because those establishment politicians never believed the great unwashed would be organised enough or clever enough to see past the wall to wall propaganda.
Then ( and this is the really shocking and unbelievable bit) , when the country voted to Leave in the biggest democratic exercise we have ever seen we witnessed a disgusting campaign to overturn that decision which is still going on to this day and involves all the big parties including Conservative Party remainers , Labour , LD and SNP . Even the Greens and PC have revealed their true anti democratic colours not to mention posters on here .
Our Parliament has now contaminated itself terribly and it’s going to take a long time to win back our trust .
The Brexit party may only take 5% of the votes next month but those 5% could turn out to be critical Labour voters in marginal Labour seats where the Labour Leave voters have been so spat upon and shat upon that those ignored people then voting for the Brexit party may allow the Tories to sneak in with a majority and get us out of the EU in Jan .
If that does come to pass can anyone argue with the view that whether you like him or not Farage has been the most influential politician our country has had in history ? "

Nigel Farage’s leading politics company – The Brexit Party Ltd – is set to launch its manifesto later today.
A short document that is said to be a ‘contract with the people,’ it will be based around a central promise to invade France.
“I have always said that the only true form of Brexit is outright war with France,” explained bollock-faced foghorn of ignorance (Thank you Phillip Pullman) Nigel Farage.
“As such, if the Brexit Party is voted into government, we will endeavour to invade France within six months. That sounds a bit rushed, but it’s important that we maintain the element of surprise.

French President Emmanuel Macron has responded to the Brexit Party plans by rolling his eyes, shrugging and saying ‘Peu importe’.
