If they go with the right frame of mind, it does.
It allows those who are suffering to believe those in positions of power care about them.
Unfortunately, neither Mrs May (Grenfell) nor Mr Johnson (Derbyshire) are very good when it comes to empathy with ordinary people.

I thought he did quite a good job on telly the other day pushing a load of muck around with a nice old fashioned tin pail and mop. Spreading his word to the nation - what shit spreading old knob he is - no wonder he got heckled |
