Or does it just show how far to the right the Tory Party has become? It is a one dimensional organisation built solely to line the pockets of its very dodgy backers - surely none of the 99% of the population who will be worse off under a Tory Government will vote for these idiots! |

" good news "
Not sure about good
But yes it was to be expected the current conservative/nazi party would join with the bnp/ brexit/ nazi party
People asked how did Hitler get in in a civilised world

Farage was always going to have to do this, lying is not a problem to him as demonstrated in the past. He didn't really have a choice looking at the polls the brexit party are haemorrhaging votes to the tories. Without a "pact" they are unlikely to get a single mp. And would harm tory chances in conservative areas especially ones that are for remain. Interesting to see what the libdems do as they are suffering a similar problems although not the same extent as BxP. |

Boris is just trying to fulfil his duty in getting Brexit done.
17.4 million people have spoken.
It’s called democracy!
We don’t need uncertainty into 2020.

Well they say no deal has been done some will doubt that but the lib/dems cant really moan as they have done the same with the greens and plaid.Seems everyone is out to get corbyn.Hopefully he will retire if he loses along with mcdonnell and then the labour party can get back to the middle ground.

To be absolutely frank with you a lot of Tory Remainers are just as scared and worried about Corbyn's Labour party as they are about BREXIT. There is absolutely no way they are going to vote Labour if they think it has the remotest chance of leading to Corbyn as PM. A lot won't even vote LibDem if they think that will let Labour in.
If we really want to stop BREXIT then the Remain side needs to rethink it's strategy and the first step would be to start putting as much effort into attacking the Tory and BREXIT parties as both Labour and the LibDems have been putting into attacking each other.

If the LibDems formed any sort of official pact with Labour most of the Tory Remain vote would switch straight back to the Conservatives and Johnson would be handed the election on a plate. Labour and Labour supporters need to realise and realise quickly that the LibDems are the only party that can galvanise the Tory Remain vote. Corbyn's Labour is just not a place they are willing to go.

Yes, do you remember the poll of Conservative Party members during its leadership election?
A majority would still want Brexit even if it meant Scotland leaving the UK.
A majority would still want Brexit even if it meant Northern Ireland leaving the UK.
A majority would give up Brexit if it was the only way to prevent Corbyn becoming PM.
So Brexit, in the eyes of Tory Party members, is more important than the union - but less important than keeping Mr Corbyn out of Downing Street.
I found it quite revealing about attitudes in 2019.

I was so pissed off with Farage I wasn’t even gonna vote for him if they were second behind labour where I live ,
I’d consider it again now but I doubt il have to make the decision as labour are way ahead here !
A lamppost with a labour sticker on it would win !!! |

Why do you like Brexit but not Farage and Johnson?
Farage represents US interests in getting a hardest possible brexit, so they can destroy us with the world's most one sided trade deal. Buy off the NHS, sell us hormone filled meat and dairy etc etc.
Johnson is one of the select few who will benefit from Brexit through currency trading and tax avoidance.
So liking brexit. But not liking these two. Seems like an oxoron. |

Very interesting you say that, many other leavers say the same thing as if "uncertainty" is the root cause to the mounting reduction in investment in the UK and nothing else.
Have any leavers actually thought past that word "uncertainty" and thought about what it means, what is the uncertainty and why it is there?
I wonder if leave voter can nail this down and answer this |

"Congrats to Lord Nigel Farage for his decision in this.
I wonder if he will still be allowed to be an MEP when he gets his lordship?
There is no restriction on Lords being MEPs, only MPs.
"
Thats a bit of a result for him then! I wonder what his peerage will be? Lord sealand of dogger banks? |

i don't think it helps boris as much as you think....
Labour can turn around and attack farage and can basically say "a vote for farage is basically a vote for johnson!"
the lib dem can turn around to moderate tories (those pro european tories that haven't left!) and say you are getting johnson/farage by the back door... and the tories are the hard right brexit party
and both of them can basically call the brexit party a militant wing of the conservatives......
it doesn't conservatives in places they think they can snatch from labour... and doesn't help in places where the conservatives are defending from the lib dems because those people have likely already gone |

"I would like to see you and Boris get together because you would really have some numbers, because you did fantastically in the election, the last election
"He has a lot of respect and like for you. I just wish you two guys could get together—I think it would be a great thing."
"When you are the president of the United States you have great relationships with many of the leaders, including Boris, he's a fantastic man, and I think he's the exact right guy for the times.
"And I know that you and him will end up doing something that could be terrific if you and he get together as, you know, an unstoppable force."

The only thing we can say with any certainty is that brexit has been damaging to the process of Parliament and has cost the country huge amounts of wasted time, energy and money.
The only real reason the economy is tanking and the pound is losing value is because of the uncertainty of Brexit and the consequent perceived futility of doing any sensible forward planning.
Uncertainty leads to chaos and generally speaking the only people who thrive in chaos are criminals or those who are wealthy enough to weather the storm.
Brexit - the lemming era. |

I've been working and sleeping a lot recently, so what's happening? Nigel is selling out Leaving now? He's going to give up even more seats? So he is a career politician then
Yup, dump him. I'd rather Richard Tice be leader.
At a Brexit Party Rally clip someone played, the local candidate spoke passionately and without animosity, he was very genuine did well imo. Then a big build up and with Jazzy music Farage was introduced, with that fixed grin he does and hands in the air. He didn't come across authentic like the other guy which I think said a lot. |

The uncertainty is will we make things difficult to trade by leaving or will we stay
It's a simple good scenario vs a bad one for business investment in the UK. |

The problem with what you suggest is the brexit party isn't a poltical in the traditional sense it is a private company. Farage is owner CEO and chairman of the company so he has pretty much total control of everything. |
