Been wondering if labour got in and they got a better brexit deal, which respects the referendum.
I think many remainers might switch to leave if that was the case.
What do you think? |

I don’t believe that will be the case, I know a lot of people who will switch to leave if labour gets in.
Which is better 52% or 80%? Then you'll have your convincing victory.

Neither the Conservatives nor Labour will deliver brexit.
Boris' deal is NOT brexit. It is BRINO.
Labour will not be able to negotiate anything better for one very simple and obvious reason (well, obvious to perhaps everyone except the Labour party) and that is that they have publicly stated that they will negotiate a deal and then campaign to remain.
So why on earth would the EU offer Liebour a better deal than has been negotiated so far when they clearly would prefer us to remain.

The UK is on the inside, with a set of opt-outs.
Both Conservative and Labour would move UK to the outside, with a set of opt-ins.
Labour, by remaining in the customs union, is less damaging economically.
The Conservative plan is more of a gamble, since it relies on their ability to negotiate better trade deals with the rest of the world than the EU can.
One thing the last three years has shown is they are hopeless at negotiations. |

labour has always said it wants to remain in the customs union and the single market so that's even less of a brexit than boris's deal, and I think labour leans more towards remain than leave, but that's just what I think so.... |

Yet Nigel is now saying brexit should be postponed or cancelled?
Should he rename the party to the brexit as long as it keeps me relevant party?
I think we should leave but we need consensus now. Remain and Hard Brexit are off the table now, only a good deal for all is possible and labour are on paper the best alternative to the Tory mismanagement of the country and Brexit. |

There was no defined leave / Brexit on the ballot paper, just leave.
Boris's deal get us to leave.
The EU 28 will become the EU 27 because we will have left.
Brexit will have been delivered
Leavers knew exactly what they voted for
Leavers will have their Brexit  |

Vote for Corbyn and Brexit won't happen.
But at least every home will get a magic money tree for the garden. |

Both are saying they will negotiate exit terms that are good for the UK.
Only one is saying they will let the people decide if they like those terms or not.

I think either party or other leading Brexit is not going to deliver anything spectacular. Ultimately, the EU have got us by the balls (and any other country wanting to leave for that matter) and they know it.
It’s in their interest to make it difficult for Britain to leave and as the UK is made up of Scotland, Northern Ireland bordering with EU Ireland, there’s far too much complexity.
The fuck up was made by Cameron in the first place when calling to the public to vote. There should have been some clear constraints made to the public to say the democratic swing has to be considerable and voted by at least x% of the public to be executed. I can only believe that he clearly thought it would be an easy remain win, hence the laziness and thoughtless approach.
Couple this with no clear manifesto, so people fully understood the high level arguments rather than a load of opinionated twats with minimal power blurting on with ridiculous statements causing concern amongst the public.
A complete joke leaving us the laughing stock of the world.
And whilst I personally lie in the remain camp, I’m not against leave. I just don’t think the foundations of Brexit were set correctly in the first place hence dividing the country. |
