Is the general election a second Brexit referendum in disguise?

Boris has called it because he has no working government

Not too long ago a Prime minister would have resigned and called an election if they had performed so badly as Boris has.

Boris only cared about being in power, his recent stint has only served to show how incompetent he really is.

Kick him out I say.

It shows you how f**ed up the situation is. Uk has painted itself into a corner and I doubt that general elections will bring any more clarification, especially when people vote based on the one party policy only. It will be another reflection of the counties division.

It's a strange conundrum ( like the Brexit fiasco has been since day one ) ,, the side that do not want a confirmatory referendum want the General Election to be a confirmatory vote on their Brexit plan ,,,,, and the side that do want a confirmatory referendum want the general election to be about NHS , education , police , austerity .

The second you write down exactly what brexit is it falls apart and you get a section of people claiming it isn't really brexit - some would even prefer remaining despite voting leave. It was always going to be messy when you allow incompetent people to dictate what it does, or even does not, mean.
