What are these "cycles" of which you speak? Sounds like something totally out of our control? |

I saw a science program a while back and that was looking at data that showed vast shifts in climate both ways, hot and cold over millions of years naturally. |

I saw one a week or so ago that had some very interesting figures in them, not sure if they can be believed but it showed one period where the average temp rose 5 or 6 degrees in around 40 years IIRC and that for a long while the average was 24Degrees whereas we are now just over 14, of course the average temp doesnt mean much in reallity, its the weather that temp creates which could be the issue |

There is now no debate required upon the causes of the current global heating - it's caused by humans.
The earth has natural cycles but the current heating is due to us. Attention is therefore only relevant upon what we can do to minimise the damage currently underway and projected to worsen. There are other aspects of our behaviour that are causing other problems, including pollution and extermination of other species.
Shag - don't get sidetracked on natural climate cycles. They exist but the current problems are not part of that process. |

What I want to know is what the scenes looked like after the partying had finished. Wouldn't be completely surprised if they resembled an apocalyptic wasteland of filth and rubbish left by the environmentally friendly protesters.
Or maybe they did practice what they preach and cleaned up after themselves.
Meanwhile, another hysterical woman was on the radio urging the governments to do something. What are the somethings the governments need to do? Well she went further and told us: She basically said they need to push 5G smart meters on people. So, there we have it.
Would a 5G smart meter really make THAT much difference to be made mandatory by law? I am conscious of energy I use anyway and don't feel a smart meter would be any help. She went on to say all gas boilers must be abolished and made electric (so they can also be linked to your 5G smart meter).
Marrrrrrrvelous. |

Why you talkin about tin foil for? I'd rather just not have a meter since I don't think it would help me save energy more than I'm already doing. I'd have thought XR would be pushing something that actually made more difference. |
