Is tabloid press heading for a dead end with Harry and Meghan both suing the mirror group and the daily mail. When was the last time you brought a newspaper. Depending which one you buy they are all biased.

By law, television news must be balanced and objective.

Not so with newspapers.

The tabloids are the most manipulative, devious, duplicitous publications.

There are certain ones I boycott completely, on-line and in print.

It's as if that inquiry into their behaviour never happened.

Not bought a newspaper for years and just use news feeds on my phone which is a mixture from the national and local news outlets across the country.

If something "perks" my interest but I think it could well be biased or just plain wrong then I'll research it at source myself to see what the truth is.

No one uses newsprint to wrap fish and chips these days. Food safety laws killed that off

This is about companies and their employees stealing information.

Now, if it is to expose wrong-doing, and there is no fair way of doing it, then you'd say fair enough.

None of this is to expose wrong-doing.

These companies steal personal information, repackage it and trade it in the prurience market for the purpose of profit.

Buy the stuff and you are an accessory to it.

I like to read data more than opinion and use a variety of sources but the tabloids are generally fairly revolting - owned by, generally, extreme right wing tax dodgers and people with extremist agendas.

The press resisted much reform, from the Leveson inquiry, touting themselves as holding exemplary standards for self-restraint

Harry has been open about his own psychological hurt since his childhood - that unprecedented step ought to be enough of a warning for them to keep off. They appear to have pursued them, including from a racist perspective and it's evident that greater control and restrictions ought to be in place. He has financial resources that most don't have, so if any changes come about from him, it could be for the good of society.

I'm a little alarmed that he may foresee harm coming to them.

Nothing is balanced or objective you have to listen or read both sides of the argument and work it out for yourself.

People always say the BBC is biased when it does not take their viewpoint no matter how much they try to stay neutral.

If both sides are complaining, they're probably getting it about right.

There's a thread in the swingers chat forum about a story in the Sun about people on this site.

Same issue.

Steals information, repackages it, trades it in the market for prurience and profits.

The deplorable thing for me was the number of posters rushing out to buy it.

They're an accessory to outing people on Fab.
