I think most of the population is fed up with it and wish that it was over one way or the other. The only people who seem to be enjoying it are the politicians, after all it means they don't have to do any other work apart from sit and argue all day. |

I'm sick of it but I understand these are monumental times in the history of the UK. As it will effect us hugely in Ireland it's pretty much non stop here. And when you leave that won't be the end of it, just the start. I don't think anyone knows what's down the line. |

Before the referendum and probably up until sometime earlier this year, Brexit often popped up in almost every conversation.
Now I'm finding nobody wants to speak about it or can be bothered with it anymore (including me).
I think most people are in disbelief of our government, parliament and the amount of time and money spent on this. Plus of course the division of people across the country.
It's like a horrible long dream. Just end it, either leave or not and do it now! |

It has at least revealed how much contempt the deep establishment and ignorant lying MPs have for the ordinary people of this country and democracy, it is a rotten Parliament and agree with the sentiments that it is a swamp that needs draining.
They have done untold damage to Britain’s image and the people’s trust in democracy. I cannot believe this is still dragging out. Get on and deliver a full clean Brexit, just as the majority voted in the largest voter turnout in our history! |

Except they did not vote for full Brexit! They were told lies and told we could still deal with Germany day after Brexit vote! Lies!
Told it was easy! Lies
Told we would get deals like Norway lies!
Too many voted for different things.
Now we know the truth, vote again! That would be democracy |

As oppose to endless lies AND threats from Remain side? Including economic meltdown, house prices crashing, families over £4k worse off annually, terrorism and crime increases, food prices through roof, medicine shortages, WW3 risk, threats to cut benefits to elderly and disabled if they voted Leave etc etc.... |

Sorry I really am going to have to stop here, you seem hysterical with Project Fear (is it mark 3 or more by now?) plus do not seem to understand any of it on top. It will not be a productive discussion |

Project truth.
So you voted for what exactly? Hard Brexit not on the table. WTO was not on the table? So what did you think you were voting for. Simple question |

I'm bored and fed up of still being here in the EU, as they continue to kick the can until they can get enough EU nationals hurriedly bussed in to help tip the vote in the planned second referendum.
The ballot paper said Remain in the EU or Leave the EU. Nowhere did it say pretend to leave on a Remain deal while still letting a bunch of unelected bureaucrats we can never vote out get their hands on our military, so I don't know what the above is about. (well I can probably guess) |

But not custom Union? See the problem they voting for different things due to lies. |

"I think people who voted leave were voting to leave the European Union."
I think most people would agree with that statement but the problem is is that Leaving the EU can actually mean anything from still being in the Customs Union and Single Market, a Norway style EFTA Leave (in the Single Market but not in the Customs Union), a Turkish agreement (in the Customs Union but not in the Single Market), a Canada type FTA (in neither the Single Market nor the Customs Union but a comprehensive trade deal covering most of what is covered by being in both), or 'no deal'. With so many possible Leave options it's impossible to know which option the majority of the 52% who voted leave actually would prefer and extremely unlikely that any one of them actually has the support of more than 48% of those that voted.

The initial problem and cause of all this chaos is that David Cameron put forward a referendum vote without first having plans,(backstop, new trade deals etc etc)for a leave vote in place.. then had the cheek to just walk away (as he used to walk away from the microphone) so I don't think just blaming the leavers stands up.. Cameron had absolutely nothing planned for a leave vote succeeding |

If anyone picked up the message during the referendum that leaving would be simple and quick, you were lied to or naïve. It's extremely complex and achieving change via parliament is not necessarily really easy either - but as realists, with some experience of politics, we'd know that right?
Undoing decades of integration with a massive block could not be really simple - consider the amount of legal, economic and safety aspects for example, after so many decades. It could be a little easier if we never had to do anything connected to those 27 countries again - but they are major trading partners, the source of much of our wealth and goods.
Most importantly, the difference between a good or bad deal for leaving will have a huge effect on the rest of your life, as well as millions of others.
Political representatives are responsible for getting it right for you. If you glibly think it should be concluded because you are bored, concluded however, whatever, it's facile or you are misguided by the wealthy, who are more certain to profit, even as you lose out.
The conservative party which started this and have managed it since, are more appropriately the subject of criticsm, if you feel misled, at risk of major losses or imposing boredom. The devil is in the detail, so it's crucial to conclude this sorry mess as appropriately as possible, even if some would settle for anything, to get it over with

Wrong again
Why are you totally unable to look up the facts and realise your totally incorrect hysterical fears about our Military being taken over is pure rubbish, lies, bullshit.....
Why do you find it impossible to educate yourself on the facts over this instead of just taking what the likes of Farage tells you?
Honesty I'd be bloody embarrassed to be as factually wrong as you are |

Does anyone remember that star trek episode where 2 guys were trapped in a corridor between Matter and Anti matter. In the end Captain Kirk had to bottle them up and seal the corridor at both ends so that they could fight it out for the rest of eternity. They just couldn't agree. I feel like I am stuck in that corridor.
I believe the episode was called the alternative factor if you look it up. The guy in the corridor was a chap called Lazarus. I felt quite sorry for him tbh.
I bet Gene Roddenberry would have a right old laugh about what is going on. |
