Did anybody watch The Cameron Years on the BBC? If Boris is such an advocate of leaving the EU, why did it take him so long to decide and if Cameron is to be believed he only did it for his own political gain?? Any Boris fanboys preordered to explain? |

"I thought Cameron came out of it looking like the proper cunt he is"
I felt the opposite, the biggest cunts were Boris and Gove. So, why wasn’t Boris on board the Brexit bus from the start?? |

That's funny, I was reading a bit about Cameron just now.
So as I understand it, part of the reason the EU referendum was held was because Cameron basically promised one if the Conservatives got a majority in 2015.
What a high price to pay for getting rid of the libdems.
He must have gotten in so much trouble with the string pullers when the result came through lol.
But I remember Cameron for his EU speech in 2015, where he proposed to get anyone who questions the establishment in any way when there's reason to, treated as a terrorist and legislated against, known as non-violent extremism.
We'll always remember Cameron for banging on and on about "Extreeeeemism" and "Fundamentalism" every other day.
In 2010, it was constantly "dealing with the deficit" to justify killing old and vulnerable people off.
When someone like this keeps repeating themselves over and over this is one of the biggest signs they've been told to say these things lol. |

I was born in 1960's. Lived through Wilson, Foot, Maggie, Blair, etc.
Looking back, the Cameron years began when labour politicians were being labelled as extremely corrupt. They were claiming humongous "expenses" for things which some people thought should have been personal expenses.
Then along came Cameron, but lets not forget that Cameron actually faced a hung Parliament and only regained power by doing a deal with the Lib Dems / SDP.
Back in those days, food banks were not really a thing. Credit Unions were gaining ground mostly thanks to the previous destruction of building societies. But on the whole, life was quite good. America was at peace with Russia. China and Japan relations were good. I drove a nice car, had a computer in each room of my home, kept warnm in winter and enjoyed good food. I could go for a booze cruise to Calais, load up with cheap beer, wine & spirits. I would enjoy a cheap short break abroad, knowing that I'd saved much more money on the cheap booze than the cost of the petrol, ferry and hotel.
In the Cameron years, my elderly grandmother didn't have top sit for over 8 hours in A&E before being seen by a triage nurse and didn't have to endure a further 8 hour wait in A&E before being seen by a doctor, and didn't have to endure falling asleep in a corridor on a trolley. |
