Well after the supreme court case and its findings it seems that parliament is not sitting today.Does make you wonder why all that money was spent and all the outrage about it being shut down was expressed and nothing is happening today.

Grantham

Friday is normally set aside for Private Members Bill's to be debated, and only in a few Fridays in a term.

Most MPs have returned to their constituencies to do their work there.

By not sitting today does that excuse the previous unlawful prorogue of Parliament?

Maybe mate but dont you think after banging on about being denied the chance to debate at a crucial time they might have thought about sitting today?

You seem to have missed the point again.

Bristol East

Just all part of the giant clusterf*ck called Brexit.

The world must be watching in awe how a country can run itself so beautifully when freed from the shambolic, dysfunctional governance of the EU.

Not really I fully get where you're coming from, the only reason I can see of bringing this up is possible sour grapes and an attempt to dilute the Government’s previous actions saying why all the fuss when their not there today

Parliamentary business is set out in advance by the Goverment. Its not just done "off the cuff".

Very little business is historically ever done on a Friday, and thats not going to change anytime soon.

You see this is the problem the mps are having too in the house taking everything as an ulterior motive.I simply looked this morning at the gov web site to see what is going to be discussed and to my surprise nothing as no one there. Now i put up a post about it and how strange i find it after the biggest court case in the land to get back in and they are all out again and you choose to see it as trying to water down the court case and sour grape. This forum is very much a reflection on the HOC and all that is wrong with it.I certainly dont see this kind of reaction in the streets or in the pubs.
