Since coming back from holiday I haven't posted on here. Read the same empty phrases and half understood phrases repeated.
Then I found a summary from the Daily Mash.
Enjoy, or don't
"The Brexiter’s guide to misunderstanding democracy
20th September 2019
ARE you a Brexiter unable to stop howling about democracy despite not knowing how it works? Here’s how to be a shouty, ill-informed w**ker:
Transparently love fascism
Balance your belief in democracy with mental statements like ‘If Remoaners don’t like it, give them one-way tickets to Venezuela. And if they won’t get on the plane, set police dogs on them.’
Have a curious understanding of ‘majority’
52 per cent of Britain voted for the EU to f**k off. That’s a massive super-majority and the idea that it’s only 37 per cent of the electorate is just Remoaners twisting reality.
Know nothing about democracy except the vote bit
Separation of powers? Independent judiciary? A mountain of erudite thought is available in a split second on Google, but why waste your time with Tocqueville (French) and John Stuart Mill (three names, clearly posh) when the only important definition of democracy is ‘Brexit’?
Be furious
Even though you didn’t give a toss about any vote before or since 2016, be absolutely batsh*t, brink-of-a-coronary furious about it all the time. If people shuffle away from you in the pub or your wife has left you, you’re defending democracy.
Believe MPs are your slaves
Prove your ignorance of representative democracy by insisting MPs must do exactly what voters tell them to. If someone provides a ridiculous counter-example, eg ‘So should they put sharks in swimming pools if idiots vote for it?’, just angrily reply ‘YES!’
Make sh*t up as usual
Everyone who voted for Brexit wants no-deal and fully understood every last detail, despite a lot of them believing patent nonsense like the EU wanting to change the name of bananas to ‘das Yellowenbendifreut’." |

Oh my god, the EU have passed a law that those yellow curved fruit must be called Yellowenbendifreut!!! We a living in a dictatorship, i am not going to take this lying down. Bloody unelected fascist commie libtard treehuggers. We should be out, they're not going to send any bloody Yellowenbendifreut here. Next thing they'll be wanting to rename chocolate & black cherry & cream cake after some bloody woodlands in Germany or something. I didn't die in two world wars to be treated like this!!! |

"Odd.
No Brexiteers outraged about my deliberate and malicious misrepresentation of their knowledge and behaviour?
"
Actually, not even my view. Someone else's, although a more reliable source of news |

So you think Boris is going to illegally leave then? Or do you think he’s going to pull a rabbit out the hat with a last-minute deal?

"We are all waiting and painting our big signs that will say "oh look project doom was wrong, again""
Didn't Leave say that a deal would be easy and that we would get the same benefits without obligations?
Did Leave mention no deal? |

No.
Leave expected that Article 50 would not be triggered immediately. That there would be a national, cross party consensus and a single negotiating position.
Apparently.
It was never going to happen. It was always going to be a disaster.
Here we are. As predicted by remain. |

"Party like it's 1999 ...this time party like britex time ....Party party party ....the remoaners can have a wake .."
So, will you put the bottle back into storage for a third time if it doesn't happen...or is it fourth?
I've lost count... |

I've got through a few bottles each time another nail is knocked into the BREXIT coffin. Gina Miller's case; regulatory alignment for Northern Ireland; each time May's deal was voted down; Law stopping 'no deal' exit; March 29th; Johnson selection as Tory leader (biggest BREXIT own goal so far); another law stopping 'no deal' exit in October.
I've gone one ready for tomorrow at 10:30 but it might have to remain on ice, already got ones for 29th October, inevitable General Election and/or Referendum with the inevitable result.
BREXIT actually died in late 2017 when regulatory alignment was agreed. It may take another year for hard-line BREXITERS to realise that it's all over but it is and has been for almost two years now.

This BREXIT thingy is starting to become very expensive in champagne. Supreme Court just put another nail in the BREXIT coffin! |
