When I was growing up, on the telly would be the adventures of Sooty and Sweep. (and Soo)
Sooty and Sweep (and Soo) were, beyond doubt, the stars of the show.
However, we always knew that there was someone else "in control" with their hand so far up their arse that you could see his fingers poking out of their eye sockets.
Today, we have arch rival enemies, Sooty (Boris) and Sweep (Jeremy). Then we have Soo (Jo) who is the feminine voice of reason.
Unfortunately, the man who is really, truly in charge is no longer a gentlemanly Harry.
No, the gentleman who is laying down the most important decisions of our country right now is Domonic.
