Dear Angela has said she is desparate for a deal because a buccaneering Great Britain would threaten the whole economy of Europe as the EU would not be able to compete with us.

Try looking at what she actually said in a rational manner, instead of a little Englander style approach.
You gung-ho types who live in a perpetual land of make believe will be the instigators of the break up of the UK and the ruination of England, and you can't even see it.
Take off those rose tinted spectacles, and smell the coffee, because we're all going to be a lot worse off when we do eventually leave. With or without a deal. |

"Brexiteers suffer from a form of madness . something they've caught off the remoaniacs "
Really? Can I ask a question? Have you read the yellow hammer report ? Have you listened to the doctors, economists, retailers, car manufacturers who have all predicted that a no deal brexit will be a bad thing? Do you still believe it is ‘project fear’ . ?At what point do you think a no deal brexit might be a bad idea? Are you willing to put people at risk to get what you want? |

What a bunch of negative people you are,how have you got through life so far?Life is no bed of roses and has allways been survival of the fittest, sad but true.
Nobody wins but democracy does and freedom is richness.
So get ready for some hard times but know it will be better, for your own good.
Time you all grew up and took some responsibility for your lives |

What freedom are you writing about again? Are you somebody's slave or UK is not a sovereign state ? Once again empty words that have nothing to do with reality. |

The ones with most to fear from a "buccaneering" approach aren't the Germans, it's the British and the employment rights of workers that you and your like seem to think are a hindrance to lining yer own feckin' pockets.

If any evidence was needed that Brexit is a puritanical religion, one where plebs like us need a good dose of purgatory and suffering to cleanse the system so the toffs can redesign our society in their interests . . . this is it.

The absurdity of the situation is that the probrexit and anti-EU campaigns were sponsored by very wealthy conservatives, the owners of powerful assets, the media, corporations, and its populist slogans were bought by not well-off representatives of the lower middle class, the working class and the elderly. The former, the rich, will come out of the crisis with a defensive hand, maybe they will still make money on it and this time those who followed their slogans will lose the most. This is how populism works, a lot of emotions, little sense, losers from pits are happy because they can accuse someone of their failures, unload their frustration on someone and the rich are happy because there will be something to earn. |

Just as people have been saying for 50 years that nuclear fusion is just 20 years away, so people have been saying for what feels like as long that the collapse of the EU is just around the corner, too.
Quite why anyone would aspire to wreck Britain's biggest trading bloc is beyond me, other than to think the chip on their shoulder must be quite a burden to carry round.

They can't stop the scare stories , "imminent collapse"of the economy and doom and gloom . . That's all they have
It's as if that's what they want to see happen just so they can say Told You So .

Who is ‘they’. The government? The doctors? The economists? The retailers ? The car manufacturers? The Bank of England?
Apart from Nigel Farage who else has said that leaving without a deal won’t be a disaster? Are you willing to get what you want for the sake of what the ‘experts’ have says will happen? How bad does it have to get before you realise it is a bad idea?? |

So wasting 600-800 million pounds a week is a positive for you?
Someone said somewhere that Brexit is a religion for the believers. It's a good analogy. There is no evidence to suggest any positives will come out of brexit. All they're left with is blind belief, catchphrases, insults and repeating the word "democracy" over and over again out of context until it loses all meaning. |

It's not a religion anymore. This is blind fanaticism based on deep ignorance. If you ask about the positives of Brexit it's either silence or stupid writing. I would add freedom and control to the word democracy. |
