It sounds strange but possible, but the father of the house maybe a possible Caretaker PM if things go pearshaped.
Three things,
1. His proposal for brexit was only defeated by a 2 votes.
2. Possibly the only MP in parliament which commands respect from all members of parliament.
3. Wants Brexit done and has voted consistently in it occuring.
4. A sensible and responsible MP with years of governmental experience.
If Boris refuses to accept the will of parliament and this happens. I think Ken Clark is the only one who could unite this country in one fell swoop.
Hell, I’d vote for him if it was the case. But thats just me,

Anything is possible.
Could only arise from a no-confidence vote, I think, and the 14-day cooling off period.
Certainly, Corbyn would struggle to command cross-party support.
He could say - again - he is acting in the national interest and step to one side for a fortnight.

He's seemingly a fairly decent person and exceedingly so, in comparison to much of Johnson's government including him. I'd support him for the role if he promised revoking Article 50, which I don't think is in his plan.
After 3 conservative governments have brought us to this mess, I think it better to have a leader without a conservative background. Better him than Johnson, any day though |

There not emboldened by mandates there scared shitless by them and Pandoras seen the terror in there eyes.

People can change their minds, Based on what they see.
That’s what we need, someone who can admit they are wrong, a statesman good or bad, we haven’t had one of them in years.
Someone to steer the brexit ship to safe shores for everyone, right? |
