Did it take everybody to realise there's about a dozen men (yes men, women aren't this stupid) with a dozen profiles each that make up the entire political forum with about eight others?.
It took me about seven weeks to realise the truth.
I mean 320,000 members and 18 posters on a forum, and why the hell has politics got a separate forum anyhow?.

I occasionally post in here from our only profile but struggle with all the anger and vitriol so it is rare. There's a politics forum OP as everyone used to post in the lounge which became a problem. |

Well I suppose you could ask the moderators to prorogue the politics forum for a few weeks and see how outraged everyone was. Imagine logging in and finding that you couldn't post in the Politics forum for 8 weeks until after the 31st October. There would be a Fab riot

Tbh, I don't care if this is the case.
I like using forums as a way of testing my own views. And there are enough posts on subjects I haven't thought about to keep me interested.
I wouldn't use the forum to extrapolate how many people think on thing, or that all people who think X do so based on Y.
So if five profiles say the same argument, I don't think this is any more common than if one profile says it.
And I think there is a politics forum to keep us away from the rest. Which is a shame, a it's political apathy, and a lack of awareness of the difference between the headline and the actual detail, which has created the divisions we've seen. |

This section has less contributers because of a lot of the nastiness here maybe,also the very narrow field of politics it covers.
For me it is mostly funny and although sometimes interesting mostly just funny,I have a strange sense of humour |

This is true the only sock puppet accounts I see are when the far right come back after a ban.Mostly 2nd division types |

i have no idea how you find out who has more than one profile and what political side they are on and really dont care but what i have noticed when ive looked at someones profile who seems to be negative in every post is they have had no verified meets.My conclusion by that is they are either not getting any because of their negativity or just keyboard warriors who would never meet anyone anyway and just use the site for the forum. |

Same profile here for the last 10 years, never had even a second one, let alone a dozen, I wouldn't have a chance of keeping up with the necessary admin, email accounts, passwords etc, sod that for a lark, I'd rather just have the one genuine one.  |

Same here but I did find it funny the one who said others didn't have a life because they were on here was the one running 3 or more profiles |
