So why else would people be so easily persuaded to vote against their own interests? Personally I think only a small minority voted brexit for race reasons.
People have been so easily convinced that, something so obviously going to make their lives worse, is good. To me, that indicates control through propaganda and fear. |

All 3, to some extent . The UK has wealth and power that's above world average. Citizens are controlled and restricted by forces both inside and outside of their control and influence. Brexit has cost £billions that would have been better invested in much worthier things. It's been an abuse of privilege by a few upon the many and would really hurt them if completed. As someone else said, the world has been damaged by us, as we've sat around and squandered our time to help contain that damage for other species and future generations. The near-term is bad and longer term is fucked |
