Just looking at the poll it stated that “The Quinnipiac poll asked more than 1,306 American voters a series of questions related to recent events in Trump’s presidency.”
With the US population being over 327 million
So it looks like they asked maybe 4 or 5 people per every 1000000 people.
Not sure how this can be looked at comprehensively |

Woo hoo, I'm not invisible  I'm not one of the 45% though. Only thing I don't understand about the poll; where is the obligatory 5-10% who don't know. Makes it seem a bit suspicious to me  |

All polls are subject, to who you ask, where you ask and the political leanings of those asked.
Every poll should be taken with a good pinch of salt.
Anything a politician says who you don't like will always be a negative reaction in the way your head thinks, that's the way it's wired. Polls can say what they like, there is a lot of people out there who like this president, there's a lot out there who hate him. Thats just a fact of life. The cycle goes on, until the next and the next. You either find a good reason to get him out of office or you get a new one next election.

Not exactly a very comprehensive poll of a population of over 327,000,000
