Hello and welcome to the British summer season. I do hope that you have all arrived at the seaside safely.
I couldn't help noticing, after looking on a calendar, that Halloween is shortly followed by Guy Fawkes Night.
I do wonder if this will be updated for the modern world this year?
Brexit Day on 31 Oct, when witches & goblins place wicked curses on people.
Followed by the burning of the Boris on bonfire night? |

We've already decided to burn his effigy this year in my house...
You know what they say .
Build a man a fire he'll be warm for a night, set a man on fire he'll be warm for the rest of his life.. |

I really wouldn't burn his or anyone's effigy in your house. Far better to build a bonfire outside and put the effigy on the top. Just I helpful suggestion I hope.
(is this really a good solution to the Johnson problem from an environmental point of view?)

Yes, but only if his effigy is riding a bicycle.

We already are a laughing stock, the only way we will leave the EU is if Brussels makes us leave . |

"Well he'll need to sort a Chancellor out as Hammond (if Bozo gets in) is resigning on Weds after PMQ's
He won’t be the last minister to quit"
From what I've heard 3 or 4 others have said there going to the Lib Dems if Boris becomes PM so it would be a minority government from the off. |

For quite some time now, I have been suspecting the the UK will become something similar to the old East Germany.
A bit isolated, a little weird.
Alexander Boris dePefeffel Johnson could be the very man to bring this to fruition.
We are a united kingdom of countries eager to see electoral reform and shouting the word democracy whenever we can.
I can see us being the renamed to Democratic United Kingdom.
Don't laugh, Democracy was clearly important enough to be included in the name of the GDR - German Democratic Republic and the DPRK - Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea. |

The nasty piece of work deserves a bad ending for his willingness to sacrifice everything for his own ego. Happy to trash millions of lives, the union etc. He should be sectioned in an NHS facility deprived of funding by his votes, so he remains behind locked doors for good.
What an absolute mess these elite ultra right wingers have created. |

The people voted them in.
The people voted for a referendum.
A50 was trigged by a majority Parliament.
If Parliament had voted the deal through, the people would now not be in this position? |

The ultras think it's their time to create a new far right world order.
They'll be ground down to a fine powder . |

"I didn't realise Its the first time in British political history a PM is choosen by party members .
What can possibly go wrong for the 77th PM ...
" .
That's right because the last time it happened the labour party didn't even give it's members the vote on it.
We have a shameful lack of democracy in this country and frankly we should be having four or five referenda a year which is compulsory to vote on. |
