Insight into Brexit party members

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

As Farage's Brexit party is gaining plenty of support, here's a well researched article on members of the Brexit party and their values.

I'll only bullet point a few items on a few members of the Brexit party because there's so much it's quite unbelievable really.

Each point has a link to the news story on this article.

Quoting...

Nigel Farage.

============

Where to begin….

Farage has joined rallies with far-right parties in Germany on invitation of relatives of actual Nazis.

Farage is very good friends with Steve Bannon of far-right website Breitbart, whose leaked emails proved he was trying to rebrand actual neo-Nazi organisations; Farage describes him as “my kind of chap”.

Farage was quoted as saying he admires Putin, presumably because of all the assassinating and censorship.

Numerous former school friends and teachers at Farage’s elite private school (Dulwich College) have attested that Nigel used to sing Hitler Youth songs, sing “gas ’em all”, boast about having the same initials as the National Front, and worshipped (still worships) famous racist Enoch Powell

Nigel’s thinly-veiled racism is so magnetic he can’t organise a protest without the far-right EDL from attending.

He’s a man so heroic, that when gay and disabled protestors surprised him in a pub, he fled in a car and left his children behind

He tries to camouflage himself as a working class man of the people, but is one of the highest paid politicians in the UK, a multi-millionaire who resided in a £4m Chelsea home. He criticised European bureaucrats earning £100,000 a year but himself enjoys £84,000 as an MEP, plus pension, plus tens of thousands in allowances, and earns hundreds of thousands a year from being a professional wanker on TV and radio

Farage is also a climate change denier, referring to it as a “scam”

Paul Nuttall

============

Paul Nuttall is a homophobe who doesn’t want school education to acknowledge that gay people exist, and says equality has gone too far

He is a member of the UK’s largest anti-abortion organisation (Society for the Protection of Unborn Children), who are anti-same-sex marriage

Paul Nuttall has voiced opposition against the existence of the NHS

He denies climate change is an actual thing, and called it a “scam”

Ann Widdecombe

=============

Former Tory prison minister Ann Widdecombe is extremely against homosexuality. She has voted consistently against pro-LGBT legislation and opposed same-sex marriage (link), and even voiced support for gay conversion therapy (link). She has spoken out against transgender people. She has been quoted and filmed referred to gay relationships as “disgusting” (link) and “wrongful”

Claire Fox

==========

Claire Fox doesn’t think the government should ban people from watching child porn. She has defended Gary Glitter’s right to download child porn on a Radio 5 Live phone-in

Claire Fox also defended and has forever refused to condemn an IRA bomb attack (1993, Cheshire Town, which killed schoolchildren)

Fox has also said that she doesn’t think the government should ban Jihadi terrorist videos

Catherine Blaiklock

===================

The Brexit Party’s original leader and walking face-palm, Catherine Blaiklock (who is actually still listed as a director of the party), resigned amidst controversy for writing numerous anti-Islam Twitter messages (portraying Muslims as rapists), complaining of seeing people of different races minding their own business in public, and retweeting far-right messages (by Tommy Robinson, a neo-Nazi linked to the KKK called Mark Collett, and Joe Walsh.

Richard (James Sunley) Tice

===========================

A multi-millionaire property developer and ‘vulture capitalist’, Richard Tice is the CEO of asset management group Quidnet Capital LLP with £500 million of property under management, whose business enjoys the use of tax haven Bermuda, and seems to also use The Channel Islands for the same purpose

The tycoon also co-founded Leave Means Leave with Richard Longsworth and Arron Banks. However, he has been quoted as saying that investment banks and bosses think Brexit would be catastrophic for the UK

Ben Habib

=========

Ben Habib is property developer and chief executive of First Property Chief PLC. He has described the “volatility” of Brexit provides an opportunity for his “opportunistic” company to profit. He has been quoted as saying “The pound would fall in value… our [company’s] income streams would go up in value. So we’re quids in on that front”

Quotation ends.....

That's just a taste of information researched on a few of the Brexit party members / candidates for the MEP elections.

Interesting bunch of lovely individuals, but I guess knowing who and what they believe in is good when you're voting for them

I saw this somewhere too.

It doesn't matter. People will vote for them regardless. They have belief. That's all that matters. The end justify any means.

Interesting if they'll be defended here other than Farage, who can do no wrong apparently

Yeah it's like when trump said he could stand on New York’s Fifth Avenue “and shoot somebody” and still not lose voters.

Do you think you could at least say the pro child porn was wrong? Or are you so passionately anti Eu that you'll actually be ok with electing someone who's in favour of child sexual abuse.

Funny i thought it was the Green party group in the European Parliament who had historic links to supporting the legalisation of Pedophilia. Not sure if links to the news stories are allowed on here as it relates mainly to the German Green party, but the German Green party join forces with the UK Green party, and other Green party groups from all over Europe in the European Parliament.

If you Google "German Green party Pedophilia scandal" you'll find links to the stores which showed the German greens supported it in the 1980's, but stories surrounding the scandal re-emerged around 2013 and 2014 in the German press.

I also seem to recall Harriet Harman, who was former deputy leader of the Labour party also had historic links to supporting the Paedophile Information Exchange group back in the 1970's :-

www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/labour/10659100/Harriet-Harmen-Jack-Dromney-Patricia-Hewitt-and-the-Peadophile-Information-Exchange.html

Plenty of remainers on here seem to be ok with electing Green party and Labour party MEP's though, judging by the comments on various threads on here today. So the same could be asked are remainers so passionately Pro-EU that they just don't care about these things?

Harriet Harman hasn't actually defended paedophilia has she?

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2014/feb/25/harriet-harman-regrets-employer-link-paedophile-lobbyists

You have "links" to paedophiles if you listened to Gary Glitter once

I have never voted Labour though and to the best of my knowledge cannot vote for the German Green party. I certainly can't vote for them 40 years ago.

As an attacking strategy goes, that's pretty poor.

However, if you are happy with all the candidates listed for the current UK Brexit election list then you just ignore what you've read. As predicted

Should they all be free to do that?

How much unearned income do you need to be one of "the elite" then?

It's a re-run of the 2016 referendum.

Vote for a slogan.

No plan, no policy, no substance . . . nothing.

Just a sound-byte.

Freedom!

Thank goodness none of their candidates will have any actual power to do anything.

Exactly this. The pro leave, and pro remain parties need no manifesto, and no members. It's all about the Brexit position.

I didn't bother with the rest of it as just the above is complete bollox if you actually think about it.

If you dig back into the family tree of EVERY German you will find a Nazi somewhere. You may not have noticed but Adolf's lot were quite big in their day.

My Mrs has a (now dead) great uncle who was SS Leibstandarte. On the other side of her family her grandparents hid a Jewish family for over six months and helped them to eventually escape the country.

So by your warped thinking, if My Mrs invited anyone to anything then the invitation would be sent by a relative of a Nazi.

Next time Corbyn visits Germany it will be at the invitation of a Nazi relative. Why? because they all are, not by choice but by default and by birth.

You lefties don't half talk some real shite at times.

AFAIK the green party in the UK has had no such links. So I have no qualms in voting for them. If I were in Germany I'd likely not vote for their green party.

Or are you saying when voting we should be looking at the policies of the parties they may align with had in the past 30 years. That may open even bigger opportunities for anti ukip and Brexit party (aka ex ukip)to explore...

It would depend how far and wide you go.

We are 3-5 generations on from the Nazi era. Do you think that there are many (if any) German Jews who have not married outside the Jewish faith? Their numbers were so small in 1945 that most wouldn't have had much choice.

Even today their numbers are minuscule compared to other countries (UK for example) so yes I think you would find a few Nazi's even in German Jewish family trees.

That doesn't make today's German Jews Nazi's though, just the same as it doesn't with any other German who had Nazi relatives, as the OP tried to imply.

So basically if you vote ukip you're voting for a fascist future.

And if you vote green then you're accepting that the permissive society will eventually legalise paedophilia.

bloody typical.

"So basically if you vote ukip you're voting for a fascist future.

And if you vote green then you're accepting that the permissive society will eventually legalise paedophilia.

bloody typical. "

In Germany the Greens are already talking about lowering the age of consent and legalising i ncest.

Oh and while we are on the subject of Nazi's.

It was Hitler's SA who spent most of the late 20's/early 30's shouting down and physically attacking opponents. Yet the meeting disrupting, milkshake chucking left call us Nazi's

Oh the fucking irony.

"As Farage's Brexit party is gaining plenty of support, here's a well researched article on members of the Brexit party and their values.

I'll only bullet point a few items on a few members of the Brexit party because there's so much it's quite unbelievable really.

Each point has a link to the news story on this article.

Quoting...

Nigel Farage.

============

============

=============

Claire Fox

==========

===================

===========================

Ben Habib

=========

"Sour grapes because they are in the process of winning elections we shouldn’t have had to take part in today.

GO NIGE

Do you think you could at least say the pro child porn was wrong? Or are you so passionately anti Eu that you'll actually be ok with electing someone who's in favour of child sexual abuse."

What “pro child porn?”

I’m most certainly not in favour of any kind of child abuse, sexual or otherwise.

It's from the Vinny Jones school of politics Emma.

If you can't play the ball then kick the man, then cry foul and over react if one of your own gets kicked.

If you actually bothered to read it properly you might have noticed there was quite a few people mentioned and not just Farage.

Yes I have said I disliked Corbyn because of his stance with Terrorist organisations.

To say I'm "none thinking" when I unlike you actually research before I post is quite amusing
