Welcome to the new and improved pro EU Lib-Dem party.

So what has been the first move of the Lib-Dems in their rehabilitation after the kicking they got for enabling the Tories between 2010 and 2015?
They have combined with the Tories and UKIP to remove the Labour council in Oldham. Thats right folks the 'only viable pro remain party' (according to their leader Vince Cable) is to climb into bed with UKIP and the Tories yet again to get a taste of power!
Vote Lib Dem to get Tory/UKIP administration. |

Imagine thinking any career politician is not out for themselves. I mean if they actually cared about the people of this country they'd do the job for minimum wage. ![](/icons/s/rolleyes.gif) |

What you have to understand is that when you vote tactically you have to be ready to compromise.
Whilst many in the South may well vote LibDem to try to keep the Tories out in the North there are many who vote LibDem in order to keep Labour out.
I have to say I am a little surprised that they are getting into bed with UKIP but I would guess in Oldham the LibDem vote is traditionally an anti Labour vote. |

"Anyone got a link as to what happened here? Either my googling is failing me or it's a story that hasn't broken big. "
Here is a link to a Manchester Evening News article on the subject:

The Tories have been in an alliance with UKIP in Oldham since 2015...
