So, the EU don’t think we have a clue what we are doing (really?) and they are proposing a 9 month extension. Clearly May won’t last this long, so Local Elections, EU elections and then a General Election where the Tories get destroyed... |

yeah but we only have 12 years to save planet earth! Following on from the last time we only had 12 years to save the earth....which came after the 20 years before that. I reckon we could squeeze in a few more referendums in that time frame. Anyway Sir David voted leave!!

I had the exact same conversation with a Labour campaigner in the run up to Cameron V Milliband. She went through everything Ed said he'd do as Prime Minister and asked how I could disagree with any of it. I told her I didn't, I just doubted his ability to get the rich to pay their taxes to fund it all. Corbyn hasn't changed my stance on that. If a Labour Party leader could, I'd vote for them. |

"Reality is that if labour gets in you will see the mass flood of money going out of the uk big time because they know that labour will tax them more.
"
Brexit being the baby of the extreme right wing of the Conservative party has caused £1 trillion in assets to leave these shores yet labour are worse...Please have a word with yourselves.
The conservatives if they got their way would bring this country to its knees.
Vote anyone but conservative . |

We're not at the general election point yet though - and the last one had Labour, led by JC, oust the conservatives from their overall majority, when they were trailing dismally at the start, following years of media negativity and criticism.
It's clear that Brexit was created 100% by the conservatives and they have 100% created an ever bigger catastrophe for the UK, over almost 3 years. 100% Conservative, end to end, apart from the last few days, where May is trying to rope in Labour, to help shift some blame from the conservatives. People are not stupid, they know it's all a conservative cluserfuck. Other parties wanted involvement but the conservatives deliberately excluded them, so they were largely powerless, except at the points where parliament were included or required for the process. We could try blaming Erdogan, as he failed to ready his country, so that millions of Turkish were not streaming this way, as the lies peddled at the referendum insisted. Or just ensure that the conservatives continue to carry the can for helping to destroy this country and peoples' wellbeing.
When there's a general election, we'll have to see what the state of the mess is that has to be sorted out and the parties' manifestos, for how they'll do this.

With protest votes from all sides I fully expect a hung parliament with the balance of power in the hands of smaller parties and independents .....might actually be a good thing but this does rely on people working together for the good of the country so maybe not! |

"We need a full no deal Brexit and a Corbyn government.
Let's have a maximum pain revolution
You shouldn’t be allowed to go out to the pub on your own, this is just silly talk! "
I just think now fuck it, let's have the most damaging scenarios all in one go and get it over and done with |

Brexit is a Tory problem that has metastasised every where.
Simple solution for the Tories to regain ground the middle ground . The only credible people who could pull it off are Ruth Davidson and Amber Rudd-
Admit - the referendum was a big mistake and was to solve a Tory problem.
Admit promises were made that could never be realised.
Admit the party system here is hopeless and inhibits decision’s can be made by consensus.
Just be honest for once- I think the public would respect that.

Latest news is that EU have agreed an extension until 31st October.
Plenty of time for us to have a General election then so that we can get rid of all the self serving parasites who have been acting against the will of their constituents |

First past the post will prevail and the conservatives who created brexit, then refused input from the other parties, have created the total mess of today. This has cost £ billion.
You would still need to get a general election. At present the UK could have a. New prime minister who would be elected by a handful of conservative party members. But this is the brexit failure party continued. |
